View attachment 780721 Just for grins I loaded a T22 up and screwed it into a Provari. Haven’t done it in a long time. The draw is actually a bit tighter than on the T22 battery. But I’m only vaping at 3.8 volts. That’s about 9.6 watts.
They are great on a Provari :)

The T22 really should be considered one of the best beginner tanks in vaping history. They are usually $9.95. They hold 4 1/2 mls. They don’t leak. If you put a vape band on, you can drop it on concrete and they won’t break.
I haven’t bought coils for a year, but they used to be $1.18 each at FT if purchased in multiples. The coils are the best drop ins ever made. I vape light colored fruits, and get well over 100 mls out of the first run, then do a cleaning and can get another 30. It’s a dual element too. I take the time to wipe the tank down a little at fill time. Unscrew bottom cap and wipe condensation inside cap and bottom of tank, top cap, and tip. But if you’re in a hurry, you just unscrew top cap, fill to top of coil and vape.
It helps to pull the tip out once in a while, as a little juice can puddle in the hole.
If Innokin would have just added volt or watt adjustability to the T22 battery, it would have been perfect

Couldn't agree more - the pure reliability of the t18/t22 range was the major reason I was able to quit smoking. I never had to worry about leaking tanks or coils not lasting.

I know they brought out the ezwatt kit - but adding variable wattage to the t22 mod would make it even better

Same experience here. This combo finally got me off the cigs after decades. The T22 fires a little too warm for me and eventually I moved on to a variable wattage mod but still have the tanks which I use for travel. The mod still sits on my shelf in a place of honor. The one that worked.

    Well folks,
I received a Siren2 RTA with a pre-installed 1,55 Ohm coil and already wicked. (From a forum member)

    What can I say?
I am used to my endurat18 on the stick battery at 14 watts topcoil. A little warm and throat irretating but that's what got me off the cigs.
I dont like the siren2 (for now) :(

I cant find a airflow that does the trick like the endura. The flavor is not good either.
    I am very dissapointed.

Wanted to switch to RTA because I only use NETs that kill the coil in 1-2 days at 14 watts.
Could not find a mod with variable wattage that gives me the same draw like the endura mod.
    I tried the istick40.

Am i destined to go through 30€ worth of coils a month because I only can stand nets and my prism coils?

This is not a bright outlook on my vape future.
I carry 2 enduras with me all the time and a 5ml liquid bottle.

I cant be spontanous. Always afraid the coil might die or I run out of battery.

    Sad

I may have missed it in previous posts but, how long have you been vaping?

When I started vaping using the Endura T22 set up I used lots of juice and went through lots of coils.
Time moved on and I started getting things under control. I became less of a hostage to my own preconceived ideas and started exploring different tanks, different airflows, juices etc etc. As tobacco withdrawals subsided and as I broke away from looking at vaping as a direct replacement and as something different my need to have the stupid thing stuck in my gob all the time subsided

    I vape since 6month.
    Last 30days without relapse.
    100% combustion free.
    Thanks to endura T18.

I wanted to cut down on coil costs and i wanted to vape the t18 at 10-12watt.

I still neeeed to vape very much. I go thorugh 4-5ml of NET juice per day with 10mg nicotine.

    I cant stand the siren.
Flavour is not better compared to endura :-(
    Cant get that satisfying hit.

    Innokin, please release a T22ii.

Bit ther is still the coil problem.
I used to roll my own cigarerttes. Thats why i wanted to gibe RTA a shot.
A new wick every day is not expensive. 1,30€ for a coil that lasts 1-2days is expensive for me.

    Wher to go from here?

safe distance from a black hole
When I was first starting with the T22 I went through 8ml and more of 18mg juice a day and wrecking a coil every to days. The T22 was running so hot I couldnt use a metal drip tip.
I got a Nautilus2 and Zelos mod as well as a couple of other set ups and played around with ohms and watts.
With 0.7ohm coils @20w I couldnt vape so much 18mg juice without felling ill and dropped to 12mg and about 4ml a day.

Fast forward to today and Im sitting here vaping on a rta with 4mg juice using a 3ohm coil at @4.6w to 6w and only using about 2ml a day and feeling really quite satisfied.
Along the way my preference for draw and temperature changed as well as my vaping technique. I care less that my vape experience matches my old cigarette experience.

I used to roll my own cigs and RTAs go a little way to fine tuning and personalizing the vape experience like rolling your own cigs did for smoking, but every rta is different. Some people love the siren and some dont, I dont think much of it. I like the Berserker, but some people dont like it at all. You kinda have to try different things until you find what works, just as you did with tobacco, papers, filters, rolling technique, draw technique etc.

    Well, thanks @Jebbn
Since you know the t22 and did enjoy it back then, can you recommend a RTA and specific kind of wick that mimmiks the endura T18/22 draw?

    Pleease
The Berserker MTL RTA has a good tight draw. So does the Savour MTL RTA, but its somehow different, I like it and dislike it. Vapefly Galaxy mtl RTA is also pretty good. SXK Doggystle clones work alright as well, theyre also cheap.
Some people like the rta's mentioned above and some dont. I just had to buy them and others and work my way through them
I find the Berserker mtl rta to be very easy to work with and leak and gurgle free, others find it a problem to wick right and have a gurgle problem.
The draw of the berserker is as tight or tighter than the t22, I think, its definitely tight on the smallest opening.
You kinda have to try things and find what you like. I started with a T22 endura kit and now use Innokin Zenith tanks and berserker mtl rta's and could be happy with those two, but you might end up finding something else you like better.
I dont trust other peoples reviews and generally have to try for myself. I dont think my own recommendations are all that useful for some one other than me.
Good luck finding your happy place, sometimes just adapting to what you have can open up a whole lot of possibilities.

I have never tried the berserker, but as a former T22 user I do like the Innokin Ares RTA. Some people say they are leakers but my two have served well. I also have the Siren 2 and like the flavor, but talk about a leaker! I think the top cap forces juice out of the air holes when replaced, but maybe I just don't wick it right.
Nothing I have tried matches the Zenith, but that is not an RTA, but the coils are not expensive and last a very long time.
I would agree with Jebbin's suggestions also, all very good.

Part of the flavour chasers compromise is coils die quickly.
The Zenith 1.6 coils do last a bit longer than the T22 coils. I prefer the zenith and a few other tanks over the T22 but do have a soft spot for the t22/endura set up because it helped me stop smoking tobacco.
If you are fixated on NET juice and the T22 and its draw and style of vape you are kinda locked in to what you have. Sometimes compromise brings about the discovery of a whole new set of preferences.
    Good luck, Gordon :)

Look at the top of the iStick 30. It’s different than the 40. Almost all the people I know on here, myself included, that still use the T tanks use them on either the iStick 30 or a Provari.
Both replicate the pull of the T18/T22 kit closely.

    Are you really sure?
The istick30 has these tall air-channels that the istick40 has.

The istick40 spoils the perfect t18 draw ....

You say the istick30 performs better?
Did you try an istick40 to compare the two?

I can tell by looking at the top of 40 that it’s not the same as the 30. And the tank sits different on the 40. And I use the 30 all the time so I know it works.
I hope your not throwing the T coils out, because you can hot wash them and reuse them. You have to pop out the silicone seal before you wash them.
Be very careful popping it out. One of the heating coils is just below the seal. Use a paper clip.
Here’s a pic of the coil disassembled m. Look at the cotton. You don’t have to disassemble the coil to wash it. Just take the seal out.

I’m not clear on what you mean by “are you sure”?
I started with the T22 kits, used them exclusively the first 6 months. For the last 10 months, use the tanks on either iStick 30 or Provari. By the way, they also work on the SVD 2.0.
