Is there something wrong with my battery

I just recieved my KR808 today and i noticed that my first cartrige outlasted a freshly charged battery. Is this normal?

It's not unusual for the first couple of recharge cycles on a new battery to be shorter than normal. But getting beat by a cartridge? How long did the cartridge last?

like 2 hrs, I just replaced the battery and 10-15 drags later it started tasting funny
