I have a russian (clone) and its good its really good... When it works... Im having some issues getting enough juice flow but besides that its good... Easy to build a single coil in but dual coils is a PITA and a great juice capacity

ohh ok. juice flow problem? whys that? how bout anyone out there with an evic supreme?

The evic supreme should be a pretty good device, but if your starting to get into RBA's such as the Russian or drippers you might hit the limits of its output. If I was shopping in that price range for a regulated mod I would get a provari personally, it has a cult following for a reason.

I like my eVic - don't have a Supreme. (Yet...) For an APV it's insane the custom features and settings you can get out of these things. I think it's the only thing out there that's actually firmware upgradeable. You can plot your own custom wattage settings so that over x number of seconds, let's say, it starts at a higher wattage to warm things up and then you can have it drop a couple of watts for the rest of the vape. (It can store up to four custom settings - one VV and three VW.) For an APV I like a screen that can show you everything at once - remaining battery life, watts and volts setting, device resistance - no need to flip through menus. Lot's more.

One more point: It's a high frequency PWM device so it's a nice smooth vape. I don't know what frequency it's running at, probably not up there in the 800 Hz range of a Provari, but it's high enough that it doesn't have the harshness and "sizzle" of a cheap 33 Hz PWM device.

It's not for everyone. But if you can appreciate the technology - and want to actually play with that technology - they are great things.

Every device in vaping needs to be understood to get the most out of it. There is no device that everyone likes or that everyone dislikes, except for the ones that simply don't work right.

The Kayfun types can all be made to work very well unless you buy a bad clone. Juice flow issues and dry hits are typically a result of the way the wicks are set up. Watching a couple of videos on how to set up these RBAs really helps.

I believe my cotton might have gone a little bad somehow, its been badly packed and doesnt feel right anymore, works perfect in my aqua but not in the russian... I will buy some new cotton soon... But i have like 7/8 of a bag left so it just feels a little stupid :p

I use my Evic Supreme every day with Kayfun lite plus clones. Couldn't ask for anything better. With an output of up to 30 watts, I can't imagine that you'd need more power.

I also have two Evics, and have been using kayfun clones for over a year now. My first Evic got dropped a couple of times, and the Svoemesto Kayfun managed to smash in the little rubber washer on the center post. I replaced that, but after giving it rough use for a long time the 510 threads started to go, so I purchased a second one.

The second Evic is still working great, but once again the rubber gromment around the center pin started to get bad, so I replaced that also. My reason for upgrading to the Supreme is that the top 510 connector can now be replaced by just screwing in a new one. Of course after I got it I found that they had added an "adapter" for the regular Evic which screws over the 510 connection to give it new threads (only about $7).

Anyway, I love the entire Evic series of VW mods, as you can adjust them any way you want and aside from the weak 510 connection (due to using chrome plated brass) they are a great vape.

I don't use microcoils, as I get what I need just using 3mm silica and 5 wraps of kanthal, and I also run at pretty low wattage (usually 6 or 7). I can crank the wattage way up to burn gunk off my coils though!

I also use Protanks quite often (with my rebuilt coils) and they work quite well also. I use the Evic to test my new coils, and it works well to let you know if you have a short, and the resistance of your coils.
