iv'e been vaping for about a month now.i have a 510 and started with medium strength ry4.i had some symptoms headache, chest pains, dizziness.but it wasn't to bad.i just figured it was analog withdrawl.but when i started vaping some ry4 from freedom smoke usa with a higher nic level 24 mg.i went from bad to worse major head aches, chest pain, heart racing, confushed, slured speech.i thought i might be a nic od.because i was chain vaping.so i went back to the lower nic ry4 but after 2 days of this my wife feared i had a stroke. and took me to the emergency room.they gave me a full work up because strokes run in my family.everything was ok. but they wanted to keep me overnite because they said somethings wrong but they don't know what. i left because i figured it has to due with the e liquid.i vaped for 2 more days but the headaches, heart racing and dizziness was to much.stopped vaping yesterday and started smoking analogs again.still have headaches and chest pain but everything else is gone.i hope i can find out the problem i hate analogs now.i miss the flavor of my ry4.im going to buy some vg today and vape that alone.hopefully :blush:it's just a pg reaction.

You could also try adding some vg to the fluid you have and see if it gets any better. Hobby lobbies all carry some in the cake decorating section and most health food stores have some, but it is generally expensive and low quality.

It does sound a lot like too much nicotine. How much fluid do you use in a day?

I am assuming that nothing has changed because it has been a couple of days without an update.

Please only buy VG and PG that has the USP "Seal". A product saying it's USP does not insure it comes from a USP lab only that they purchased it from one before they bottled it. Their standards may not meet the criteria for inhalation since it's intended use is ingestion or for external use. Bake shops or craft stores are NOT where you should be buying it.

Do you have an Apple Drug Store near you? They have a different brand of VG than any I've seen named here. It's USP and is just called "Glycerin" and has zero odor at all, and is by a company called "Sunmark". It's got a blue and red label with yellow print. Otherwise, check with your closest drug stores, or WalMart and see if you can find a bottle of regular Glycerin (USP of course). It's very inexpensive.

Have you had a chance to order maybe a small bottle of VG based juice? With no PG? Perhaps you might want to try that and see if you can get it in some various strengths...starting low and going up a couple of "notches". Like start at 8 then try 10 and 12 too?

There were several things that affected me badly.
I know it doesn't sound very tasty but vape a straight VG & water mix. If that is okay, start experimenting with nic levels, flavors, even cart filler.
Eventually you can even start using a little PG to see if you can tolerate a little in the mix. I actually couldn't at first but can now.
Good luck.

Vaping some liquids also gives me a racing heart, pounding back of the head and a rushing / pounding sound / feeling in my ears. I hate it and it scares me.

Smoking never did that to me and I still smoke so it's not withdrawal related.

Am experimenting with no vape this weekend to see if it goes away and I will then drop to 6mg nic and lower pg juices to eliminate nic sensitivity or pg allergy (remember smoking delivers nic differently and causes a spike which drops but vaping causes a more stable nic buzz and thus I believe lengthens the half life. Also, calming moais in smoke but not in vape juice.)

If the ear problems remain then I must just have an ear infection / or bacterial infection and the raised heartbeat from the nicotine accentuates the symptoms of it.
