Hey guys. Im new to the forums and new to ecigs in general. This question is about the safety of my charger setup.

i bought a Kanger Evod from a local vape shop, but for some reason they didnt give me the stock Evod charger. I believe its 650mah? Here is the setup:

wall charger: itaste
input: 100-240v, 50-60hz
output: 5.0v-1000 mA

usb dongle: e-smart
input: DC 5v
output: DC 4.2v- 200 mA

i havent charged it yet after reading horror stories of exploding batteries and such. Just wanna make sure this is safe. Thanks guys!

is this what you have ?
- Kanger E-Smart USB Charger

as stated -- Not to be used with larger eGo or EVOD batteries.
USB charger cable for the Kanger E-Smart mini battery

vendor should have known not to pair this with an evod 650 mah battery

the iTaste A/C wall adapter looks ok

Is it white ? and the E-Smart is white

color matching doesn't mean safe match (Vendor should know better)(maybe honest mistake)

:?:

plus 200mA would take 4 days to charge

^ no its not that one. I looked up the one i have and it says it works with esmart and evod.
Both pieces are white

I think im just gonna order an evod specific charger to be safe

OK good , if you found the one you have (serial #'s )

and it says it works with larger ego batteries, (not e-smart) guess you're good to go... :)

the 'white-connector' comment was in reference to why the vendor made the choice,
if that was the case...
