Hi,

I'm considering to try to make this http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modders-forum/167225-best-3-tank-mod-youll-see-today.html

I'm trying to find an affordable dremel, that can make the tank mod. I don't want to buy something too expensive, because it's my first time making anything like this and not sure if I can really do it. I saw this dremel kit for $10.00 at harborfreight 80 Piece Rotary Tool Kit
Do anyone know if that dremel can handle the job to make the tank mod? Is there other tools I will need to purchase besides that dremel kit?

If that kit can't handle the job, what other affordable tools can I consider and where?

Thanks

When you mean "handle the job"....it depends on what that means. It has a motor, will hold the tools, and spin.....so the answer is yes it will. Don't expect it to be a high speed precision tool tho.

Buy it for the attachments....they are worth 10 bucks; the rotory tool isn't going to last long, but so what...throw it away when it dies.

Pandatera, Don't forget to check out your area Craigslist.
I got a new one for $15.00 at a Storage Facility sale.

Thank you all for the replies. I guess I will have to increase my budget for the dremel. I guess in the long run, it will pay off. I will also look at craiglist to see if I catch any deals. Thanks alot for all the information.

I've had this one for a few years and it works great: Amazon.com: Dremel 8000-03 10.8-Volt Lithium Ion Cordless Rotary Tool: Home Improvement
I might consider purchasing that as well.

But if anyone find a great deal for a great dremel for under $50.00 let me know. I will be searching around the web and craiglist and probably purchase one by the end of the month.

Thanks
