See the attached photo.

It says:

Glycerin
U.S.P. 99.5% (ANHYDROUS)
EMOLLIENT

But it also says on the back "For external use only. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately" etc etc.

I tried vaping it briefly and I didn't feel sick or anything, but it tasted a little weird.

Thanks.

it looks good, but wait until the pharmacist responds to this thread for a definitive answer. My VG is HUMCO brand, it was found in the skin care section of a Meijer store, it's labeled USP Glycerin 99.5% anhydrous(which means the extra .5% is water).

If marked USP, it's as pure as it gets outside of a high-end chemistry lab. USP stands for United States Pharmacopeia, The United States Pharmacopeial Convention .

The FDA regulates the purity and safety of food and drugs, but the USP is the standards body the FDA goes to for substance purity definitions. If a substance has the USP label, it is pure enough to use as a pharmacological agent.
