I love the mutation.. chucks like a beat.. i've got a dual coil build running at .4 ohms.. let me first say i'm new to rda's and dripping in general so this may be normal.. I have two rda's the Turbo by tobeco and the mutation x v4.. now with the mutation i've learned that you really have to just like glide the dripper over the cotton and basically paint over it to saturate the cotton the best.. now i'm running it at 75-80 watts.. and after I drip I get about 3-4 smooth hits, then the next hit would fry my throat to the point where it was just unpleasant.. I realized it was because the cotton was dry and I was basically getting dry hits that fried my throat... Now is this normal to be only getting this amount of hits before having to re-drip? Any info is appreciated! Cheers guys.

at 70+W I would say yes, especially if you are doing some heavy clouds... I drip also but keep the clouds to a minimum and end up redripping after 10 draws... but I also drip in 10 - 15 drops of juice each time... both of the drippers I use are deep welled ( Magma and a Velocity)

I usually get three pulls at 80w with how long I inhale for before I need to redrip. This is why people think RDAs are inconvenient, depending on how you build, you drip or "paint the cotton" on yours so often. That's the downside to you wanting to build lower and vape at higher watts.
