Is this okay to do?

I have several eGo batteries and love taking these with me when I leave the house. Is it okay to "top off" the batteries to make sure they're fully charged before I go out, or will that shorten the life of the battery in the long run?

Actually it will lengthen the life of the battery by topping off before all the charge is gone. One thing that is nice about lithium ion batteries.

Kent...that is such good news! I have literally tried to use a battery and run it totally down as quickly as possible so I could charge it to have it ready for the next day. This is just so good to know! Thanks a billion.
