Was looking to up the mah on my batteries as they don't last very long in my mechs and found this one.

Samsung 25A 18650 24R INR18650-24R 2400mah 3.6V Li-ion Battery [Samsung INR18650-24R Battery] - $8.20 : Lithium Rechargeable Batteries, Battery BMS, Pack Assembling

I see the discharge is safe according to what Ive read up on (25A) but Im not sure that everything else is safe for vaping. Anybody have one of these or bought something off this site? Also do you think this should suffice for a nemesis or any of my other mechs? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

It appears Samsung has added another high amp battery; I hadn't seen this battery advertised yet. Specs seems safe for sub-ohm use (25 amp continuous discharge rate). Very good mAh capacity for this hybrid class.

I use nemmy with igo-w, .5 ohms...would that be considered hybrid?

It looks like it has No Protection Circuit. Does this type of Chemistry Not Require it?

They are Also look like Flat Tops. Or VERY Low profile Buttons. That could be an Issue in some Mods/Chargers.

I actually found this battery on an actual vape site and the battery specs are similar to the one I was talking about

Sony 18650 30A Continuous Discharge Battery

It also seems like it doesnt have a protection circuit and I doubt they would sell it if it were unsafe but then again im not 100 percent. As for the flat top I think its fine cause I have one like that already and it works

The only thing that bothers me about this battery is the product listing only says it is a Li-ion battery. Well, all the batteries that we use in vaping are Li-ion batteries (lithium ion). I want the manufacturer or the vendor to also tell me which type of Lithium Ion battery it is - whether its an ICR, protected ICR, IMR (Li-min), hybrid, safe chemistry, or high drain battery. Unfortunately, no clues other than the specs are provided.

Judging from both its high capacity (2400 mAh) and high amp rating (25 amps cdr), this is a hybrid battery. Hybrid batteries have components of both ICR and IMR batteries. This generally means they are a safe chemistry (do not need IC protection circuits built-in) and are high drain (appropriate for high drain applications such as regulated mods, and mech mods using a Kick or RBA/RDA). The 25 amp CDR makes it a candidate for sub-ohm use.

...

This is kinda the Dis-Service that Many e-Cigarette Retailers do for Vapers regarding Batteries.

Because Many e-Cigarette retailers have Less Knowledge about Batteries than an Average ECF Member. They just Post whatever information the Manufacture supplies and put Batteries in Envelopes when the Orders come in.

25 Bucks for Two Batteries? Yikes.

I hope they come shipped inside a Vamo or something.

It comes with three I think because they give one extra but anyhow, I thought 25 for two of these kind of batteries was standard. I believe MKNE's and efest are all around 10-15 dollars for the ones that are compatible with mech/sub-ohming devices.

I haven't bought Batteries for awhile. The Last time I did I paid about 10 Dollars a piece for AW 18650's.

I guess 25 Isn't that bad.
