Is vaping dangerous to tarantulas

I'll admit, I popped in here as curious to see a pic of the OP's (awesome, BTW) tarantula as I was to see if anyone could actually confirm the question.

Think for a minute, if he uses rebuildables, mechs, DIY juice, has a tarantula... OP may very well be the rarest creature on earth!

I've have a tarantula and have been vaping in the house for a little over a year and it's doing great. She's in a 35 gallon tank with a screen lid. We don't fog up the house either but the vapor is present. She just left us a nice shed.

I would try to keep the vapor away from it if possible. Ive killed ants on the front porch by blowing out vapor at them. Granted your spiders a bit bigger than an ant but even still.. Only took a minute or so and I had a whole pile of dead ants on the porch, I felt pretty crappy after that since I was just trying to blow them away from the chair I was sitting in, not wipe them out.

I'm going away for the summertime to a place where there's always a lot of annoying insects and mosquitoes and I sure hope that my vaping will act as a deterrent and keep those pesky things away from me. I plan to be sitting outside on the porch and blowing as huge clouds as I can make, and if that keeps the mosquitoes away, then my mission will have been successful.

Well I dont mind em, but I just wish they would stay the hell off my chair on the front porch haha. Now when I lived out in Coachella the last few years.. During the summer all the giant red ants come out to play, one day you just notice raised mounds of dirt in the front yard, and here they come.. THOSE guys got straight 100mg nicotine poured down the hole, especially the one that always popped up in front of the mailbox making it impossible to get the mail without getting bit left and right!

My lady Sandra has a few spiders. She got them for Christmas. They were babies, but then she said they grew up and shed their skin. She couldn't play with them for a few days because she said they were sensitive. I don't vape around them, but I try to avoid them...

Test it. Capture a little spider in the wild, put it in a glass jar, and vape onto it with your usual juice. No use endangering your large and valuable pet, when you can test it on a pest.

why didnt i think of that. I usually catch them in a cup and let them go outside. As for all the other negative post about spiders, im not crazy about having her myself.I didnt buy it, wife did. My son wanted it when he was 8. He is 27 now. I had no idea they live for this long. When you have something for that long no matter how creepy they sort of become family. I guess.

View media item 428252I just replied to a similar thread about snakes. I know as little about spiders. But I do have a cocktail that is my world! I vape around him, I try not to, but it's hard since he's usually on my shoulder. As I said in the other thread I have changed my world for him, no non stick cookware, candles, air freshener, etc. but my vape has been fine so far.
