First off this forum is a life saver for me. It has really helped me learn and crave more. I decided after getting a lay fun clone and some kanthal that I would try some of my old tanks out for rebuilding. Got through the EVOD head fairly smooth so decided to try this iSmoka BCC which I think is a copy of some other tank. Anyway this thing is even smaller then the EVOD heads. Well I warped my tiny coil and tested it on my MVP. it read 1.7 ohms. Great I thought. I place the stem back in place after putting some cotton wick and tested ohms again to find I was shorting out because my build was to big lengthwise to fit under the stem. I tweaked it and tweaked it and no matter what I did I couldn't get the thing to not short out when the stem was in place. Being I didn't want to be beat by this little guy I took a gamble and left the stem off and just put the little rubber cap on hoping that would keep me safe from leaks. So far it is vaping away pretty well. I am wanting to know if anyone else has ever gone stem free on a atomizer rebuild.
