What if it's not SAFE?

I'm sure it's not as safe as inhaling nothing but pure, clean air, but I can't imagine any way it could be as unsafe as cigarettes.

The other day, I was reading a thread about someone being afraid of getting acrolein from vaping VG. Which, I suppose, is a fair question (although even a 6v mod doesn't get anywhere near hot enough to convert VG into acrolein).

But you know what really DOES have acrolein in it?

Cigarettes.



And people are worried about whether e-cigs are safe? Safe compared to what, exactly?

Exactly. They found something called DEG in trace amounts in one of NINETEEN e-cig products tested. Trace amounts!! And people were screaming about it.

No one mentioned that there's quite a bit more in ALL cigarettes

As a matter of fact, everything that has ever been objected to that is in E-smoke is in cigarettes .. and much more of it

I can understand that to a degree. The only way, besides vaping, I could see myself quitting is if I just went to go live in a cave in the middle of the woods for 3 weeks where I could go through the withdrawal and the misery in peace.

... and become the next Unabomber? That's the first thing I thought of, someone being out in the woods without analogs or a PV, quickly turning into the Unabomber.

I think the problem is that people who don't smoke or maybe even some that do, think that e-cigs are supposed to be this perfectly safe quitting device. That it's made out of sunshine, roses, and farts that smell like fresh baked cinnamon rolls.

And when they find out that it isn't, they freak out. And they get tunnel vision about how bad cigs are. Basically they think that it should be a perfect device and that it should be healthy or something.

But the fact is that it doesn't HAVE to be healthy. Just the fact that it's BETTER and "less bad", as I like to say, is good enough for me.

I've heard that, before!! It's not true!! My ex was one of the most not dry ladies in the world .. And I didn't stop her from smoking .. I just cut her back ..

As for what cigarettes (and nicotine alone) do to that one thing men have .. that part (npi) is true, it isn't good for it at all

This is a fun thread. One of the most unhealthy things about smoking is...the smoke. You can smoke blades of grass and feel like crap, get cancer and die. Now let's just add some additional cancer and a drug that makes you never want to stop.

Common sense isn't so common any more. The ingredient comparison, the fact that it's basically glorified steam, heat reduction (and the fact that you don't need a lighter), fueling it yourself and being able to make your own juice with basic ingredients that you can get from the store (aside from nic.)...any one of these is enough reason for me, and should be enough reason for anyone to realize that it's not as bad as smoking, if bad at all.

I wish I could somehow bestow upon people the general feeling I had while smoking, and then take it away. That alone would change anyone's mind. You don't realize how much lower your mood is while your an analog addict, until you quit. And then when you do quit, you're (at least me) in such a good mood that it annoys people.

I don't feel tired or sickly all of the time any more... my skin doesn't look grey.. I don't feel or smell horrible.. I can breathe.. my heart doesn't beat my chest up any more and I have 50% more dating options or better.

I'm not exactly sure what is in smoke machine fog compared to the vapor we inhale, but I don't even think that smoke machine fog is that bad. I love the smell of it!

Its such a coversation piece in bars in Boston . Friday night I got my mega/xl eGo stuff and was vaping like a champ . I get kinda tired of repeating myself but its for the greater good !

If everyone on this thread would donate to IVAQS so the study can be done,we might all be able to vape in indoor spaces. Check the header on IVAQS donations. If you can get everyone to donate just a little,we can get this expensive research completed. It is badly needed.

I think that I heard it was the same thing or similar. I'm not too familiar with what's in a fog machine, but it can't be that bad if clubs are blasting tons of it into the air in a closed space like that.
