I bought a Science Of vaping Eclipse tank a few months back, and I love it. Great flavor, uses Triton coils, very happy with it. However, it does not work with ANY of my Provaris! It only is recognized on my Sigelei and I have no idea why.
Does anyone else own one of these tanks?
I tried adjusting the Triton coil, but that did not help.
I own 3 p 2. 5s and a Radius, and none of them recognise that I have that tank on there. Such a shame...
Any insight would be appreciated.

I can't find a whole lot of reviews on this tank. Sometimes they can help.
First what ohm coils are you using?
The ProVari 2.5 are designed to fire 1.0 ohm and above.
The Radius is designed to go down to 0.3 ohm,
And I believe the Sigelei can go down to 0.1 ohm.
To my knowledge, Aspire only makes one coil for the Triton that the P 2.5 will fire and it's a 1.8 ohm Kanthal coil.
You can recognize these coils because they have Blue O-Rings on them.
The Radius will fire down to 0.3 ohm, but even if your coil is marked .3 ohm it might be a little lower or a little highter.
If it's lower, say like a .29 ohm, it won't fire it.

Triton 1.8 coil (Blue O-Rings) Should work on all your ProVari's.

Triton 0.3 (Black O-Rings) will NOT fire on the 2.5 but should fire on the Radius,
depending if these coils are above or below 0.3 ohms.

Triton 0.4 ohm coils (Black O-Rings)
Will Not work on a 2.5 but will work on a Radius.

The Triton 0.5 ohm (Yellow O-Rings)
Will Not work on a 2.5 but will work on a Radius.

Triton 0.15 (Red O-Rings)
Will NOT work on any Provari's

Sometimes on the Radius if it won't fire a .3 ohm coil, if you turn down the wattage, it will fire it.
Hope this helps :)

Thank you so much! I apologize for neglecting to mention that I am using Triton 1.8 coils. This tank works perfectly on my 75w Sigelei TC, yet none of my Provaris. I was chatting with someone that said their Eclipse tank worked on their radius, so I have no idea, maybe one has a slight defect. Well, at least one mod will fire it up, thankfully.

I only had a few tanks that I had problems getting to fire on my 2.5's.
The center pins on these tanks would side up and down so,
I had to get a little screwdriver and pull down the pin on the tank.
I would pull it down pretty far, then screw it on my 2.5 and it would push the pin back up to where it needed to be.
Some tanks the center pin has threads and can be adjusted by turning them.
Hope this time I helped

I also have never had that tank, but I have seen a few others post about this problem with a few other tanks, and they used some of these, to solve the problem, I hope this helps. :)

Could you please demonstrate what you mean about this? Do I wedge a flathead screwdriver between the bottom of the pin on the tank and wiggle it out a bit?

I can't find anything about the 510 pin on the Eclipse Tank :(
So I'm not sure if it even slides up and down.
The pic below shows the 510 Pin I am talking about. But on different tanks.

I believe this is your tank below, and it looks like the pin sticks out pretty far.

That pin has to make contact with the mods 510 pin and with the bottom of the coil too,
:danger: so if it's pulled out too far it might not make contact with the coil.

The pin in the pic above looks like it slides inside a rubber or plastic grommet.
I did find a video on the Nautilus about it's pin fallen out of it's grommet.

WOW thank you, I will take a look. Yes, the pin does look long enough, but maybe it just needs a tiny amount of pull... I will keep you posted, thanks again.
