Battery doesn't seem to be lasting long enough. Yes, it's genuine. Gonna try to reconnect it after it says it's charged to see of that helps. But...thinking about getting something else. Read tons of good things about the mvp2 though I'm not sure I'll like the form factor of the box. Using mostly a protank 3, and an aerotank v2.

Suggestions?

Im right there with you and actually bought a MVP 2 off the classifieds here to pass along for a co-worker that had been trying to find one for a good price. I have always posted that the box mods weren't my style however it is a lot smaller than I expected and performs really good with plenty of features for the price. They are highly recommended for a reason. Welcome to ECF.

Is it fairly new? If so:

Some people report better charging if they turn the voltage pot all the way up to 4.2 volts before connecting to their charger.

What are you plugging the charger into? It's best to use an AC to USB adapter, and if you are it need to provide a half amp (500 mA) minimum output current. Using a low power AC to USB adapter will give you flaky charging.

My Vision Spinner lasts about a day and a half on a full charge. I put it on the charger a bit after the light on the Spinner turns blue. I notice that the charger light will turn to green once the Spinner light turns from blue to white which takes about a l/2 hour or so. I have to unscrew the Spinner from the charger and put it back on again at which time the charger will turn to red and won't turn to green until the Spinner is fully charged which takes about an hour and a half. I don't know why I have to do this, but it works for me. I always charge my batteries when I'm home (and awake!) so this isn't really a problem for me.

Holy cow! A day and a half? Geez. My charger is red right now, but my light is white. I'm switching between two different batteries and kinda make it through the day. (The other battery is a smaller ego twist). Note vaping all that much I don't think. I mean, I work too! Of course lots of vaping while driving, but mostly using the smaller battery in the car.

Wow! A day and a half? Mine last about 18 hrs at the most. I've purchased an MVP 2.0 and am very happy with that. The MVP out does the Spinner 2 by a couple days at least on a charge. I've tried the USB port and wall charger. Each seems to charge the same amount. I like my Spinner 2, but it's now kept charged in case my MVP goes out.

How long ago did you get it. I know I got mine in a B&M and they told me they are warrantied for a year if it is the battery. I go through around 3ml of juice in a day and if i vape at 4.2 volts i get somewhere around 19-20 hrs from it.

Wow, I must be a fiend. My spinner lasted half a day, I kept 2 in rotation till I got the MVP2. That lasts one full day and I usually do 600 puffs on the counter. I just got a Vamo v5 and a couple batteries to extend that but it usually wasn't a problem as the MVP2 is a passthrough, meaning you can use it while it is charging. The unplug and replug the Spinner trick works. I've found that if you use a 750 ma wall wart instead of the usb on the computer it doesn't trip between the blue and white button phases nearly as much. I have 2 spinners, the mvp, and the vamo.

I think I found the answer to VSII charging problem. I charged my black VS2 all day yesterday and woke at 4am this morning and had green light.
Reading more on problems I seen people had to keep re plugging in to get full charge.
So after reading all the forums I went at a little different and let my charger and battery dangle down ( using laptop ) forcing cooper pins in USB to be connected. 30 mins later black VS2 showed charged. I unplugged and tried it again. 3 seconds and green again. It was charged. I plugged my red one in same way after trying to charge all day and 1 hour later it had its full charge and won't charge any more.
Now I'm happily vapping on both with Whites light since about 2pm EST.

USB ports only power at 500 mA
