So I've had my Subtank Mini for gosh I don't know how long; many many months now :D She's gone through an iStick Mini 30 (two actually), an M80, and now an IPV Mini 70 and IPV4 along with a couple others I know I'm forgetting (mech's, etc). Anywho, about a week or so ago I decided to try the new vertical coils as well as the Nickel coils. The vertical had good taste, good vapor, and took a little more power. The only problem was shortly after I installed it, I started getting sporadic resistance readings on my IPV4 so I tried it on my IPV Mini instead. Same issue. Hmm, bad coil? So I installed the Nickel coil and put it on my IPV4. Worked great for a day or two then started the same sporadic resistance readings. Hmm...So I say screw these new heads and install my trusty RBA with the build that works wonders for me and has since I landed on it. Put it on my IPV Mini and go to work. After a day or two now this is starting to do it! Goes from .4 to .6 which has lead to a nice surprise burnt/dry hit or two when it jumps. My Delta 2 and all my RDA's don't do this with any of my MOD's, just something the Subtank Mini recently started doing. I've tried cleaning all the connections but that doesn't seem to change anything. Any ideas? I have a Starre tank on the way but I still hate to retire the Subtank Mini that has been so good to me on a bad note. Let me know what you guys think!

I haven't experienced that problem on a very old mini or a newer one, I did however get my old one flooding it's entire contents through the AFC with the vertical .5 coil.

The newer single AFC and the newest dual AFC models seem to have a longer pin, or at least it protrudes just a bit further. I wonder if you have the short center pin give you funky connection issues?

I'm guessing the old tanks need the new RBA if they'll work or they're headed for the spare parts bin if Kanger stops production on the old coils??

I'm mostly replying to follow as I've not gotten any of the new vertical heads yet, but I was hoping to. Now I'm a bit nervous. I'd really rather not shell out the money for a new Mini quite yet if I can help it, as I just got mine not long ago.

One thing I will say is that I have noticed slightly erratic resistance readings with the horizontal OCCs on my M80. I haven't noticed it as much on my iStick 30W-- once or twice-- and those are my two primary devices right now, so it's hard to say if it's the coil or the M80. I'm sort of leaning on the latter.

I'll probably get at least a couple of the vertical coils in the near future and whenever I do, I can certainly let you know if I have the same issue. I would have gotten all verticals next time but now I don't think so....
