Issues with eGo and Stardust clearomizer

I've had my eGo T 1000 mah for about 8 months and I've been using stardust clearomizers the whole time and never had any issues. Yesterday I was cleaning an atomizers and dry burned it and the atomizer completely went out. I've never had that happen with a stardust before. I didn't think too much of it maybe it overheated or something, but I grabbed an old one I had and cleaned it so I could use it and the same thing happened again. The atomizer completely stopped working while I was dry burning it and I've cleaned and dry burnt stardust atomizers many times with no issues so this was really weird that it happened to two in a row. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue? I know they recently changed the style of the stardust. I also thought maybe there is something wrong with my battery. I'm not sure what they're average life span is, but I also had some issues getting batteries to connect to the charger starting on the same. I don't really mind buying new batteries, but if there is just something wrong with the clearomizers, I'd rather avoid the extra cost, but I don't want to ruin a bunch of clearomizers to decide it's the battery also.

What voltage were you dry burning at? You should crank the voltage down to the lowest settings for any dry-burning to avoid popping the coil.

Hey Naynay,
The eGo T should have about 300 charging cycles +/-. Since the eGo T is fixed voltage around 3.4 volts, I doubt it is spiking and frying the clearo. Most likely a clearo issue alone.

If your batteries are not charging, the center post may be pushed too far down... You would have to take the end of a paper clip and very gently try to pull it up a bit until it makes contact....
