Hi there! I bought a new SB yesterday @ the SS store. I was sold the last one in the color I chose, the black speckled(lol) one, on display in the case. All was going great. I loved it so much that I talked my hubby into buying himself one today. So, we went and got his and my batt(AW18650) died when we got home. I put my other new batt in and all of the sudden it started to misfire. Like 2 out of 3 times it behaved like this and it went on for like 30 mins. It calmed down for a bit but just did it again as I'm typing this. I haven't dropped it or anything and don't think I've had it long enough for it to be having issues due to user error or juice buildup. I filled my tank off the battery as well. I'm just wondering if this is a common occurrence with the SB and if anyone knows of anything I can do about it. I really like this color and don't want to have to trade it in for another, which is all they have @ the SS store. I appreciate any info & apologize for any grammatical errors. I'm typing in a hurry to get kids bathed & into bed on time. Thanks for reading.

Hey Rob. I took it by and Cory checked it out. He even checked my batts and couldn't find anything wrong. Of course, it didnt act up a bit on him. I guess its that same silly, ironic thing that happens when u take the kids to the dr or ur car to a mechanic and as u walk in the door all is healed. Blah. Unfortunately, it's been doing the same thing off and on all day. I really don't want to trade it in. I love this color. Want me to bring it to u so u can have a look?

I gets no love...lolol
It seems like whatever the kink was that it has slowly resolved on it's own. Maybe the spring just needed to be worked down a bit? Idk but it hardly ever does it anymore. The connection still rocks back and fourth tho. I told the guy I bought it from and he said this was normal but I got the vibe that he would agree with anything I said, really. My experience with u guys has been a bit disappointing. Especially considering the amount of money my hubby and I have spent in the last 4 months. Oh well. No worries. Sorry to bother u guys.

Hi,

I am sorry that I haven't replied here. I can sometimes loose track of posts over here on the forum since we do most of our support stuff on the website ticket system.

More than likely the button had a bur or something which was causing intermittent firing. You may also have a lighter press than Cory or anyone who looked at it which made the problem worse when you used it.

As far as the connection rocking back and forth, that can happen with various makes of atomizers/cartomizers. Or are you saying the connection in the top cap is moving back and forth?

If you want to swap it out for another unit I can order some more from the SB guys. I need to order some more in anyways.

You're more than welcome to bring it by my shop as well. We can compare it to another unit and see if they are different.

Thanks
Rob
