The ohm reader says not reading an atomizer because there is no electrical connection between the atomizer's 510 connector and iStick 510 center pin. Is it possible that the iStick's 510 center pin got pushed downward from over-tightening the tank?

You could attempt to tease up the iStick center pin with a micro screwdriver or metal nail file.

Atomizer short means a loose or imperfect connection to the above. Or their is a short of the wire coil. Since you've tried multiple atomizers on the iStick, my guess is the center pin is the issue.

This wouldn't cause a short, but enough gunk on the 510 connector pin could affect electrical conduction.
Yep I have not seen ejuice cause a short in a 510 yet and I have them full of juice from time to time in the summer heat with a T3 ;)

if shorted considering it is new I would look for a metal filing down in the 510 connector. Of no atomizer I would pull up on the pin as shown in the vid.

You could try prying up the center pin - it'll probably fix it but you may well have repeat issues further down the road.

It's brand new, I wouldn't mess with it too much to be honest. I know it's an inconvenience but I would return it to the vendor for a replacement or refund.
