I am looking to upgrade from my Vapros Nunchaku to a box mod. I have heard great things about both the istick and the MVP 3.0. But recently i have been reading posts on reddit and on here about people having problems with their iSticks. I was wondering if these were anything that i should be worried about or if their are other better options that won't cost more than $70. It would also be helpful if you had any pros or cons about these products that i should be aware of.

If you buy direct from Eleaf, the 50W is an awesome VV/VW, I have had 0 problems. Their old stock, had issues with some units having a bad firing button that caused issues for some people. The MVP, coil whine, or a humming from the coils has been an issue for some people. Not sure if it was fixed yet. My 50w has been in use for a couple months, I'm a fan. (The ohm meter is not worth looking at though.)

I have both and I have to say I really prefer my istick. Mostly for the size, weight, extra battery life. I don't need the extra watts but that's another plus. I only use my mvp 3 around the house because it's big, heavy, and has pointy corners that literally put a hole in my work pants lol. So yeah, istick..and it's cheaper.

I started with the Innokin iTazte MVP2 11w and have/had 2. 11 watts is a tab limiting as I have grown. Their ability to "buck" is key for me since only they, the SVD that is also from Innokin, and the Provari did it at the time. It was a standard for Innokin. Smooth power up and down. Anyway, last fall, my wife wanted to start and so I made the two MVP2s available to her and I got a iStick 20w because Innokin hadn't released anything new yet. The iStick 20w came out rushed for the holiday gifting and Innokin was still trying to get the MVP 20w going. Being impatient, I got the iStick 20w. It was rushed to meet the holidays and it had issues. I tossed it after a month. The MVP 3.0 finally came and, yes, it is a tad heavier and bigger, but it is solid. I didn't see problems with any of the MVPs and even my old MVP2 11w are still doing fine with my wife. Anyway, just having an MVP 3.0 and a iStick in my hands I can feel the solidness of the MVPs. Just a history of quality.

I am happy with my 3.0s and don't really need to switch to the 3.0 Pro 60w. But, I bet it is a solid performer like all the previous.

Just me.

Given the choices, the MVP hands down.

The MVP has 2 predecessors that have earned solid reputations for being reliable work horses and the MVP 3 is shaping up to be more of the same. Meanwhile I'm just really not impressed at all with Eleaf and the build quality of anything it makes whether we're talking about the iStick, the Lemo or pretty much anything else I've seen come from them.

Because of the recent/past problems with the iStick 50 watt, I'd strongly favor getting the MVP. Has eLeaf fixed the problems with the iStick 50 watts? Who knows? Given this, it would be MVP all day.

I had the original MVP when it first came out and it was a solid performer. I still have it as a backup.

I have both and it depends what I'm doing. The Istick weighs less and fits nicer in hand. The mvp is a tank and no doubt can take more abuse like if you tend to drop things. Overall they both work fine though...
