ouch....i really shouldn't even so much as giggle...but i'm sorry i just can't help it. I don't think you (the OP) mentioned what brand ecig you are using, but if its an ego/riva you can a button protector for it. Its like 2 for 99cents and they will cover the button and keep it from firing in your pocket/purse. Totally worth the investment. Hot pockets are great for lunch but lousy for you and your e-cig.

Thanks for the sympathy (what there was of it), and I don't mind the guffaws -- I know I'd wince and then laugh if it had been anyone else.

Just a few points --

I'm a guy, but that tissue is still sensitive.

This happened with an analog which I treated like an e-cig, not an e-cig gone crazy with the heat.

On my second day of vaping, I tried to use a BIC. (The edges of the LED cover are a little scorched, but it still works perfectly.)

I haven't done the 'flick it out the window' but only because I'm not in the habit of doing that -- it's a strictly enforced $200 fine for littering around here. I have tried to stub one out in an ashtray.

"BOOBee" is classic! :) Thanks for that -- it almost makes the whole thing worthwhile.

I seem to be the only one who actually read the original post. I knew it was an analog.
Didn't know you were a guy though. Seems less funny now, somehow. Or tragic, depends on how you look at it.

Yeah, I watched the thread tumbling down the hill pretty fast, but I never wanted to step in, LOL. I did, however, assume we were talking mammories though. You're right, that does make it slightly less amusing.
