And I have not craved for or wanted a analog. I will say it again, I love vaping way more (about 100x) then I ever loved smoking. I loved smoking. I really did. If it were not for my pv I would be smoking right now. I was lying to myself about how much I smoked. To be honest I did roughly smoke about 1/2-1.2pad (I know its a huge jump) depending on how my lungs felt. And this has literally saved my life. I just could not breath anymore. I would use my inhaler just so that I could smoke! How discussting is that? The e-cig is my god sent. I know some of you are still struggling at 3 months to a year or more. I am so thankful it has been easy for me. I truly am. Because I would have been back in the hospital by now. I cannot say enough about my love for the e-cig. Life changing for sure.

That's excellent and I totally agree -- I loved the experience of a nicotine rush and seeing/feeling smoke from my lips. But after a while, I hated the cost, hated(or loved, then hated that I loved) how my fingers smelled, worried about my fingernails being stained, hated how I would be ruining the vintage leather and wool hats/trench coats and jackets I collect, hated how I was approaching 30, the age I always believed I'd need to quit if I wasn't going to die for tobacco.

Now, I love not stinking to everyone I meet, love indulging my tinkery and nerdy side with mods, cartos, batteries and resistances, love the clean flavors of vaping. I greatly appreciate having my weak but passable sense of smell back.

Potential TMI warning:

I also love something that I believe many vapers and smokers notice, but don't frequently mention -- my lady parts don't smell like an ashtray. Smoking affects body odor from head to toe, and I've been so happy to smell like a happy non-combustible woman again. My major relationships and handful of hookups have been with fellow smokers because I believe that's not a negotiable difference in romance, but I noticed their tobacco bouquet even as a smoker.

WTG Mariahpoo! I also loved smoking and would use my inhaler, go outside for smoke, come in and hit the inhaler again, etc. But I think for me it's the physical act of hand to mouth, inhale, repeat that really does it for me. After a week and a half vaping I have no desire for an analog and have already lowered my nic once, about to do it again. I agree PVs are a godsend!

Congrats again! :toast:

Good work!! I'm close to two months now! I never thought I could turn my back on smoking so easily. Vaping isn't for everyone and not everyone switches so easily either, but it looks like its something EVERYONE should get the opportunity to try!! Keep up the great work :)

Last cigarette 16th October, 2011. Forever grateful for the support and advice from ECF.
