Not sure. I ordered it less than 2 weeks ago if that says anything. If I don't put the o-ring around the base of it I can see a brass ring when it's on the grand, if that says anything, lol.

When it's on the Mini about twice as much brass is visible but the atty seats all the way down. I did a few test fires and it does indeed fire, just fine.

Correct me if I'm wrong but a .6ohm coil pulling 4v is at about 26/27w and 6.67a.. no?

So these batteries should be just inside (ok right at the line.. so I'll only wrap .7ohm or above for this mod.. I promise ;)) the safe zone for the little baddies I like to vape with.. I am thinking.

Obviously these won't be lasting me long.. I imagine loading this little guy up with high nic so I use it less when I'm using it, lol. It'll probably be good to get me through a work day where I can't do a whole lot of vaping anyways.

edit - avidvapor.. is where it is listed as 8c rated..

I just re-read my post. I wasn't trying to be rude, my friend. Those were three different thoughts; about 1 minute apart.

Anyway: 6.6C: 6.6 X 0.6 (600mAh)= 3.96 it also says 4A (?)

.7Ω @ 4.1v = 5.85amps
.8 . . . . . . = 5.125
.9 . . . . . . .= 4.55
1 -duh- 4.1
1.1Ω @ 4.1v = 3.72 Amps ←←← :| (←safety guy)

Well, you could switch to the max. pulse discharge rate camp (line of thinking)

Or you could rely on the spring and a quick toss if the battery goes apeshizit

And, BTW 1.1Ω can be a very nice vape, esp. if you do your up-nic. idea.

AND, that is a beautiful little REO

AND, I would seriously consider taking it off your hands (the wife, you know)

HAHA yeah.. I don't want to catch any flak from the alarmists (fortunately they don't seem to spend much time in REOville) but in truth I will most likely just vape what I want to vape and just take shorter hits. I could easily split the difference with a .8 or .9ohm coil and be happy with it.

And OF COURSE... *dramatic pause* .. If ANYTHING were to ever go wrong I WOULD BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR MY ACTIONS. NOT THE DEVICE!!!!

That said.. yeah.. I'll probably rock a sweet vape until I get some kind of warning sign that it's not going well. And THAT said I'll probably rock this thing at home for a while before taking it out into the wild until I am comfortable that the hardware can handle what I'm asking it to do.

Nah, if I ever lose my wits and decide to part with it I assure you I will keep the drip tip (just the tip) and replace the spring, if necessary ;)

OK OK I ADMIT IT!! I took a few toots earlier with my current RM2... seemed to go just fine, battery stayed cool, vape was no different than on the grand. I am done playing with it now and will wait until it returns from rehab before I screw anything else on it or put batteries in it again.

Well, Rob doesn't have a disclaimer on his site about sub ohm (I dislike saying those two words together now), so if you do a bogus build or 3 and fry the innards of the mod, couldn't you just try to shove your inept stupidity up his ... like that "dude, like I'm all about sub ohm vaping" aka Newman character did?

Oh yeah you're right!

I could hook leads up to my car battery and vape a .25ohm 12-coil setup and when I burn down the 4 nearest homes I'll just blame it on Rob.. I mean.. there is no disclaimer after all and by george if that's the way I want to vape then this thing should be up to the task. Otherwise it is clearly defective!!

Side note.. not only is Rob's CS stellar.. it is uncommon.

Hat's off to the guy. I have a feeling that Rob did not tell Newman to go fark thine self not for fear of bad publicity but because Rob is just a cool cat and understands that some people are simply helpless..

↑ I see your clouds (re: Newman) don't have a silver lining, Supe. I can't tell you how happy I am about my decision to do a "REO Rescue and Makeover". Every time that burpus comes to mind, I just think about the awesome deal I got on a sweet piece of machinery. And how wrong he was just comes drifting out of my mouth like . . .. . .. absinthe silver lining.

Not being smug here, just appreciating what I got.

I just have to acknowledge.. that I do also have the option of being a reasonable human being and vaping a reasonable resistance coil for that mod..

After all isn't that why were all micro-coilers nowadays anyways? Because you can get a .8ohm vape froma 1.2ohm micro?

Up the nic, roll a nice and tight 1 ohm coil, be happy. That's what I should do. There.. I said it.
