it`s back to dct`s for me

Hi everyone,hope you all had a good christmas;and happy new year.

well after trying dct`s when i first started to vape,i have to say i wasn`t very impressed by them.But after reading things on here i decided to give them another try,And boy i am glad i did.I got myself a 6ml tank primed and filled it,and put it on my lava tube;and away i went.What a fantastic vape,and in my opinion a lot better than the wicking systems i am used to using.What a massive difference,and that is using the cart what came with it;which are usually rubbish.needless to say i have ordered some pre-punche carts at standard resistance...Happy days.

Carts give a great vape with no fuss.

I'm a dripper so can't recommend any off the top of my head but the word is ressurectors are amazing.

I can't seem to find any in the UK but these guys ship them at a nice price (Punched or unpunched), might be worth looking at.

I go through phases with DC's must admit Terry, when they're good, they're great . . . though
a couple of iffy ones, send me scuttling back to Vivi Nova's or the rebuildables.

But I do enjoy the vape they give.

You'll need XXL cartos for that tank.

Those carto punchers are ok but they will dull over use and can be a pain at times.

There are some great alternatives but they will cost a fair bit more.

Problem with prepunched cartos is they will struggle with different juices.

High PG juices can flood while high VG can struggle to wick, making you burn your carto.

Some of the thicker juices can need 3 holes punching or even slotting instead of punching.

Dunno why i didn't like the wick system on the Riva 1100 and it seems i don't like it on the Vamo vv/vw either.

Well you were right about going back to my vivi pep,I don`t know if it the carts i am currently using, but they are rubbish.I am getting about a day and a half out of each cart,then the vapour thins out to nothing.I am waiting on some single coil 2 hole pre-punched in the mail,And i will see if they are any better.But for now it is back to the trusty old nova.
