iTaste MVP 2.0 Connection question

Hi,

Im new at this forum. I have a question regarding the connection of an iTaste MVP 2.0 I just bought from a friend... It's really strange.

Although the box says it is a 510, the connection doesn't look like any normal 510 I've (see the attached pic). I want to know because I wanted to put a nautilus mini tank in it...

Anyone here knows which connection is this?

I don't think it will fit a nautilus Mini... Right?

Sure does not look like my MVP 2 510. Could there be a different adapter screwed into your 510? I have no knowledge of the different adapters that can be mounted to a standard 510, will leave it to the experts to answer.

Its really strange... Here is the normal 510 connection on an EVOD.

Absolutely different... I just need to know the connection type, hopefully I can purchase an adapter. The box has a number and its an original product from Innokin.

Yeah, it looks like there's an adapter screwed into the 510. It should be a female connector for the 510. The MVP 2 has 510 and Ego threads the Ego threads are the larger ones.

2: There is probably an ego adapter screwed into the top. You probably just have to unscrew it; maybe call your friend and ask about it

There is no adapter on the connector, this is the connector plugged directly into the battery

My friend says he didn't attached anything to it. Here is a new pic. It is a MVP 2.0 (at least it looks like one)

Looks to me like the pin has been pulled up. Is the o-ring still there? Can you push the pin down?

That connector looks different than the one on my MVP 2. Are you sure it's an MVP 2? It could be an MVP 20 watt which only has a 510 that is flush with the top.

The photos edyle posted are of the MVP 20 watt.

Exactly those are MVP 20W, mine doesn't look like can be removed without also removing the top of the battery.

Looks to me like the pin has been pulled up. Is the o-ring still there? Can you push the pin down?

There is nothing wrong with the pin, the whole connection is different. Also it came with two tanks, im using one right now and it works just fine (despite the horrid quality of it).

Someone has modded an MVP for some reason. Maybe they wanted a specific non-standard fitting. I bet it can come out/off though. Innokin didn't put that on... surely?

I'm pretty sure it's not a 1.0, power button and blue led display are from the 2.0 version.

My friend says he bought it from their site, don't think he requested a special connection for it. Here are some pics from the iClear 16 tank it came with... Site says 510 connection, but they match this model, however they don't fit my EVOD battery.

I'm lost... Hahaha, I giess I'll be returning this weird alien device to my friend. Im sad, he gave me a nice deal for the battery, and its a pretty nice mod to be honest.

If someone has any idea or hint on this connection, I would appreciate it, I really want to keep this mod.

well the iclear16 looks like it has ego threads, but then it should fit on your evod battery's outer ego thread

Oh, the legendary iClear16.

In the UK, they look like an "eGo" fitting, but actually, they are 510 with a skirt.

Confusing... yep.

Also, the MVPs came with iClear30 in the UK too. That was a 510. I used mini Protanks on my MVP v.2 and they are eGo.

My head is hurting...
