I pretty much use mini protanks with my mvp 2 and my itaste 3.0. I can't tell if the threads are stripped or if there's just gunky juice in them but they have become hard to screw tanks on. If I get them on, then I can't get them off without it screwing the protank apart which makes it potentially messy. Is there something that someone can recommend trying to clean with? How can I tell if the threads are stripped or if they are just gunked up?

I use an alcohol swab on both the mvp2 and the atomizer. They can both become awfully gunky. I hope this helps. If it doesn't.....just ask again cause I am sure someone here will be able to help you. :)

I know I was told to use Noalox (I was told Lowes had it) on the threads of my pv's to make them smooth. I wonder if this would be good to use on the atomizer too? Hmmmmm I bet someone will answer both our questions. heehee

Home Depot has Noalox.....a 1/2 oz. tube will set you back about $4, and there's enough to last about a LIFETIME -- like Bryllcreme...

I'd use the Noalox on the Pv...but on the atty I use food-grade lubricant (on the o-rings and inner tank threads), available at restaurant supply houses...
Happy (vaping) Trails!
