Hi guys. I just purchased a new itaste mvp 2.0 "energy edtion" from "vapingtown" and i think there is a problem with it. From a full charge i get about 220-250 puffs til its completely dead. Iam using it with a protank 3 @ 4.5 volts. Is this normal?

puffs doesn't really tell us anything about how much it is being used. You could be doing puffs that are 2-3 seconds long or you could be doing puffs that are 10-15(however long the cut off time is). the longer the power button is held each time the shorter the battery life you will get. the other missing variable is the ohm's you are using. there is a big difference in battery power needed to fire a 1.8ohm head and a 2.4ohm head. lower ohm's would cause more power to be sucked from the battery.
it depends.. how long are you puffs? Ihve a friend who does about 250 long puffs a day till he hits yellow lights.
If you are running a dual coil at 10 watts, its going to run down faster than a single coil at 5 watts.
The MVP is a passthrough, so you can plug in to charge while you vape; it will last longer if you don't let it go down; these lithium batteries are different from the earlier rechareables where it used to be better to discharge the battery.
Also, with a regulated box like the MVP, the electronics cuts off once the battery goes below a certain voltage (probably 3.7v i think); most people say their mvp runs for a day or 2 before needing charge.

I am getting about 500 7-10 second puffs on a dual coil aspire at 1.8 ohms before mine goes yellow. You might swap heads and see if the problem continues. If there is a small short in the head it can suck up the battery.
Iam running it with a dual coil @ 9 - 9.5 watts. The problem is that i've never used mvp with any other tank so i cannot tell the difference.
Ok, that sounds small. I'm pretty sure I can vape 2 ml on a standard eGo or twist. I'd be expecting more like 5 or 10 ml from an mvp
