Just got me and the wife the MPV2s yesterday and loving them. Have been vaping for a week now so still getting my feet wet on the ins and outs of it all lol.
Any suggestions on some good tanks to use on these have been using the i16s that came with it and having no issues with them but have read that a lot of juices can only be used in glass tanks. Yes im a complete newbie still. Not looking for some huge sized tanks probably nothing bigger than 2.5ml I think any suggestions would be great.
Thanks in advance :)

As stated the aspire has its on beauty ring. The base is about an inch wide, probably at least an 1/8 -3/16 bigger than the pt2. It's about 3/4 of an inch shorter than my MVP. Just for comparison.

I dig those leather cases. Wish there was a bigger selection. Just don't think I could see myself wearing that holster though.

And I'm really surprised no one has designed a basic neoprene slip on protective sleeve.

myself I don't have any luck with the i16 or i30

on the other hand, I have great luck and very pleased with the vivi nova...
- Smoke Evolution | Vaporizers, Clearomizers, eLiquid and more!

also the EVODs and T3S work very nice, simple and cheap...

- Kanger Evod Rebuildable Clearomizer - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes
- Kanger T3S Clearomizers - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes
- Kanger MT3s

there are some juices that will chemical react with plastic and melt the tank
most call these juices "Tank Crackers" -- most or a lot of vendors will state this fact when purchasing...

search around MBV's site for way cheap juice and other good deals...
good luck :)

As requested , comparison photos.

I did notice that the aspire with the MVP ring had to be ran down further to tighten the ring to tank.

In the photo its not tight & I don't want to push my center pin down.

well because that's not the proper procedure
reguardless of popular belief the "Beauty Ring" is REALLY a SUPPORT ring...

yes it looks good and hides the threads and transitions the lines of the
tank to the mod, the true reason is to provide support of a large tank beyond the small 510 thread post...

-thread support ring on fully, then attach 510 topper (just snug)
-then thread the support ring back UP to make contact with tank, thus providing support...

the topper tank should always be tightened the same --
regardless of which ring used, or with NO ring being used...

I think this confusion is why so many people have trouble over tightening
a 510 threaded device leading to pushing the battery contact in too far...

Understood, what I meant to say was once the tank was tight the ring had to come up higher than the MVP threads went to tighten to the tank. I hope that makes sense. ??

ok, just when you said "don't want to push my center pin down" made me wonder...

- - - -

and thanks for the compare photos...

I do like the straight sided better than the tapered or flared with that big tank :2c:

yea makes no difference due to the fact the base is enclosed or sealed
because air flow is drawn from adj ports on side...

you should just screw Nautilus (or any 510 tank) just snug enuff to make
contact with battery post, then draw ring UP to it...

if that is not possible, then ring is to tall (improper fit)

:)

The russian 91 is a great tank. Much more consistent than the nautilus. Wish they had that unpolished stainless finish for the MVP to match the russian 91.

columbus, oh
The russian 91 is a quality clone of the kayfun. I hear the kayfun is the best. Other clones are hit or miss but why take a chance? It's a pretty big investment but the quality is top notch and it vapes great.

Edit - no direct expierce with other clones. Have heard ehpro and hCigar are ok.
