The russian 91 is a great tank. Much more consistent than the nautilus.

Wish they had that unpolished stainless finish for the MVP to match the russian 91.

The russian 91 is a quality clone of the kayfun. I hear the kayfun is the best. Other clones are hit or miss but why take a chance? It's a pretty big investment but the quality is top notch and it vapes great.

Edit - no direct expierce with other clones. Have heard ehpro and hcigar are ok.

what I was asking was, is the MVP they call Rugged Steel anywhere close to a match ?

have you every got to compare the two together ?

I have the silver one not sure about rugged steel. It's not a close match but it's not horrible either.

I love my tobeco KFL+ clone it's awesome. Can't beat the price of a clone. I could never justify the price of a real kayfun or a R91. Also R91 isn't a clone.

So you don't compare things that are different? Not much of a comparison if you compare a nautilus to a nautilus? :) They are compable in volume and type of draw / adjustable airflow. That being said the nautilus does some time have issues keeping up with chain vaping both with stock and rebuilt coils. Price is another point of comparison but in my opinion the quality and performance are worth it. The nautilus is a great device (I said that before) but I will buy another R91 or a KFL - it is that good.

Have you seen a KFL and R91 side by side? Svoe Mesto/Kayfun is a russian company that designed the KFL and manufactured it in Germany. There was a split with some of the owners or designers and the R91 was designed based on the KFL and made in China. It is not a complete one for one knock off as some small design changes were made but the overall design and mechanics are definitely KFL. Clone doesn't have to mean cheap.

I have heard good reviews of some of the lower cost clones and am not familiar with Tobeco. I have a drawer full of low cost stuff that I was less than thrilled with. I figured if I was going to drink the kook aide I wanted either the KFL or the R91 and it was only about $30 more than a less expensive clone.

Not what I Ment and you know it.

Compare a clearo to a clearo
Not a clearo to a rba

And don't yak about the quality of a 100 device to that of a 35 dollar device

I have seen em. I know the back story as you do that's the reason I say it isn't a clone.

Honestly if I were you I'd grab a cheap clone like the tobeco or ehpro just to try it. If you really dig it then spend the extra cash and get a legit one. Then you'll have two at your disposal.

It's late and I'm just having fun. :) I rebuild my clearos. I compare all my attys as it's not about the device but the quality of the vape. I doubt you would have a problem if I said a $35 device was as good or better than a $100 device. :) I got the r91 for $75 (15% Discount and $10 credit I had). I was in love with the nautilus but I have a new russian girl now. I realize not everyone can or wants to plunk down that money for a tank - I didn't. I can tell you honestly I will get another one real soon unless the next best thing comes along.

On the wish list, I'd like to second the easier to push button. I love my new MVP, but I'm having to demote it to my secondary:(. I'd hate to have seen the original if this is the improvement. I do have hand problems, but it sounds like I'm definitely not the only one. The amount of pressure the button takes is especially noticeable compared to my vv3s, and I'm a little confused about why such a difference from the same manufacturer.

Other than that I love it, especially the long time between charges.

Actually the button on the original MVP is awesome only it is flush with the unit whereas the button on the MVPv2 is a little raised.
PBusardo has a youtube video review where he actually measures the tension on each button and the new button is harder to press.
I still have not received my MVPv2 to compare but I love the button on the original MVP.

The only good thing about the button press being a little stiff and on the side is that I can put the MVP in my pocket or lunch tote temporarily without turning it off and not worry about it.

The more I read about other devices, the more I think that the electronics will go bad before the battery pack. Everything except a P word has problems with buttons, boards, screens, threads, etc.
