THis is actually a good gripping technique.. :0 tnx

That is the only way that is comfortable for me. And it just felt like "the way" to hold it the first time I picked one up. I've tried holding it other ways but it just feels awkward.

Does anyone else flip flop between different holding styles. Sometimes I use my thumb as youse say and sometimes I use my pointer finger and then I'll use my flip a bird finger to fire the mvp while covering the air flow of my KFL+ with my pointer. And I constantly switch hands also.

I'm right there with you I never hold it the same it's what ever feels comfortable at the time or what else I am doing.

Ha!

They will discontinue the VTR in favor the the MVP if any thing. I think the MVP is the hottest selling mod on the market right now. They are moving huge volume thus, the falling prices.
Releasing the Energy Line is strong indications that it should in fact stick around a while.

Don't forget the "Shine" series for the ladies

They are doubling down on the platform.

What? Men don't like pink sugar skulls, green butterflies and purple snowflakes with crystals? :p

I will have all the Shine ones. But I need a plain one now for my stay in the purse never be without a vape vape.

I received an addition to the family, thank to The Vape Mall I won a CoolFire 1 in their contest, I have not picked up a battery charger yet just started looking for which to buy (suggestions?)

The Innokin army grows :toast:

crappy phone pic.

Congratz! What a nice prize! I have a Cool Fire 1. It is well built just wish it had adjustable wattage. Still 8.5 is not horrible. It makes for a nice spare. There are a number of good chargers. Nitecore makes a number of them and Xtar. If this is your only APV and a single battery model would do you the Xtar MC1 can be found for under $7.00.

I posted this in the Rebuildable Atomizer Systems area but haven't gotten much of a response and I thought I'd try here as this is a very active thread and someone might have tried the same combination.

I recently purchased an IGo W4 RDA and built a coil or two. When I tried it on my MVP V2, despite screwing it all of the way down (ego threading), it apparently wasn't making contact because I got "NON" for the reading. I tried it on my Itaste VV V3 (ego threading) and it got a reading and vaped, but I just tried it again and it won't get a reading. When I check it on my ohm reader (ego threading) it reads just fine. Am I missing something here? Is there an adapter that will help? Is this a known problem with the IGo or Innokin products or just the combination?

My MVP also seems to have a pin ever so slightly lower than other APVs. I have had the same thing with T3S clearomizers. You can fiddle with the atomizer pin or gently with the MVP pin. I did get all to work.

I am a noob but I am catching on. I have an Ego (NON VV lol) and just purchased a MVP today and after trying a couple of my tanks n juices on the MVP at almost every single voltage & wattage but still can't find that sweet spot. I swear the juices/tanks taste better and produces nearly the same vapor on my ego non vv. Idk if its because I became accustom to the ego and the flavor from the standard voltage since it isn't VV or what.I ordered a Provari for myself and plan on handing this MVP over to my father when the provari comes. I hope I am doing something wrong or else I just wasted a bunch of money and it wasn't on my car insurance. I think I may need to get used to it. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to post while I further research the interwebs :vapor:

Just as I was falling in love with vaping the ..... slapped me and put me in my place !

I think it may depend on the tank...more experienced people please... I use mine with an Aerotank and it works better then my spinner

Tanks: Iclear 30 - Aspire ViVi mini nova pyrex - Protank 3 - Evod

Juice: Suicide Bunny-OB 18mg & 0mg and Alpha Vapes-Sweet Tooth 18mg

Maybe I was just expecting more out of the mvp because everyone talks about the ego being good for a starter. I got the impression the MVP is supposed to be better than the ego. I know the features are but I am currently having an issue with flavor and vapor production. Now should it produce more vapor than an ego ? Or does heavier vapor come from a built coil only ?

Guys I apologize for the questions and if they aren't supposed to be asked here. I figured its better than starting a new thread, thanks.

Here is my experience. I am not at all adventuresome about watts and volts. Someone on this thread said use the P button on the bottom and set it to 8.00 and try it out. I did, it worked and I got good flavor and vapor, so that's where I've left it. I'm using the Evod tanks that I used with my Spinner. I also have a couple of Smok Tech ARO pyrex tanks and they work well on this setting, too. I think all my coils/heads are 2.5, if that helps.

Mine range from 1.8-2.2. Were you blown away by the upgrade from your spinner to your mvp ? I think I was expecting to much...way too much. Appreciate the help buggainok

Ok, I spoke too soon about the Rebuildable Atomizer Systems forum. A member came through, so I thought I'd post his response here for anyone with the same problem:

However, I tried using the screwdriver and pushing as the posts said, but it wouldn't budge. I even screwed it part way into my MVP and pushed hard and couldn't get the pin to move. While I was doing this I was envisioning the screwdriver slipping and stabbing my left hand!

So I got out a hammer! Not a big hammer, a small tack hammer, and I left it screwed part way onto the MVP and tapped on the center post screw. That's right I hammered on something that was attached to my MVP. That did it. It makes contact fine now.

Has anyone had a problem with the pin inside the 510 connection of their MVP dropping or getting pushed down (or know of anyone who has had this happen to their MVP)? I just had this happen with my iTaste vv 3.0 that is only about 4 months old...I've been thinking of an MVP for a while now but am worried that this could be a problem with Innokin's not just my iTaste!
