My Titanium Blue MVP 2.0 should be on the way soon. I was a little hesitant to buy it because of pbusardo's review where he mentioned the button. But after looking around here and talking with a friend who has one it doesn't seem to be an issue anymore.
However, in pbusardo's review when he shows the charts I'm a bit concerned about how accurate the wattage output is.
Have you guys found this to be a big issue?
The problem with any variable wattage output is it depends on how the device "reads" the coil. A fluxuation of as little as .1 ohm can really make a difference on the calculated voltage. Also you need to take into account how the device rounds up or rounds down. When pbusardo does his calculations, he does his calculations on his "lazybox" which has set ohm resistances in them. If the MVP misreads them +/- .1 ohm, then the calculation will be off.
Now, most of the issues in Pbusardo's video regarding the MVP2, I find, deals with running into device limitations on low ohm coils.
Realize that the minimum the MVP 2 can adjust it's voltage is 3.3 volts. If the wattage calculation requires less than 3.3 volts to set it's desired wattage, then the device will simply fire 3.3 volts and over fire the coil.
The device really has a sweet spot of 1.5 to 3.0 ohms. If you go any lower you will get into some limitations in the voltage regulator circuit.
I normally use 2.0 to 2.5 ohm coils on my Kayfun and vape between 8.0 and 9.0 watts and have no issues whatsoever.
