I don't have sound on my computer, so I couldn't hear him, but it reinforced the idea in my mind that when my MVP goes south, I will remove the dead battery and keep the rest of it. With the millions of MVPs out there, I expect someone will sell things to easily modify it.

If nothing else there may be some sort of replacement battery surfacing at some point if it is not cost prohibitive.

Expectations do play a part I think. I don't think I was "blown away" by the difference, but I could tell a difference. What I really like about the MVP is the long battery life compared to the Spinners. I'm retired and can vape any time I want to, and I think I must vape a lot, lol. It seemed like I was constantly switching out my batteries with the Spinners. And then, when I got in the car to run errands, I was afraid the battery would conk out while I was driving, so I always took the extra one with me. It gives me a real feeling of freedom to know the MVP will keep going so long.

I was the same way. I don't notice huge differences in anything except battery life, and for me, that is a really big thing. I always know that my MVP will be charged and ready to go! I'm always switching flavors throughout the day, so I do still use my egos and spinners rather than swapping tanks every hour or two, but when they go dead, my MVP is still going strong.

O.K., so I agonized for a majority of the day on Sunday over my first MOD purchase, It was down to the MVP 2 and the Cool fire 2 ( love the look and people say the feel is great ) but then there is the whole battery and charger purchase. After reading 1000 ECF posts ( especially in this forum ) I chose......"Drum roll please".....THE MVP 2 ( and the crowd goes wild )

Got it on Ebay with an iClear 30B and it should be arriving tomorrow. I just got some 1100 VV spinners from Fasttech yesterday and it was my first VV experience. Clouds of vapor, I love them for my back ups when the MVP is charging.

As far as purchasing from B&M's, I got my Ego-t starter kit from one of the local shops for $50 ( probably cost them $20 or less ) and about 10 juices for $8 per 10ml. Cant do that anymore, Juice online is so much cheaper. Going to start DIY juice soon anyway. I did buy my first Evod from a B&M about 2 weeks ago for $12, then got another online 2 days later for $3.

Alas poor B&M's...We knew you well.

The problem you talk about has happened on the MVP2 and it's the same fix as with the VV3's. Take a small pen knife and gentle lift up the pin slightly. To me it's no big deal. It usually happens with knock off clearomizers more then with named products. I hardly ever had a problem with my Kanger Protank 2 and Mini Protank 2's. Now I'm mostly using carto tanks which use the 510 connector and I have had no fire pin problems with the VV's or my MVP 2.

Whew, took forever to get back on this forum. They didn't propagate to Seattle, until about 6:30 am on the 5th (today). Was REWLLY mad when I got a brief looksie, and other people had been posting for two hours yesterday afternoon.

Oh, you made a statement? Glad to hear that, only using the iclear30's and mini protanks 2 so far. Will be careful about the knock offs. HOWEVER, since switching to these bad boys, noticed a reaction. Previous set up, halog g6 batteries (both manual and automatic, more than ine color, primarily using halo @80/20, variable pg ratio depending on mix, some 12 mg, mostly 6mg).

Now using mainly mvp2 Lovin it. BUT, started out using iclear 30 with some mt. Baker 65/35 juice, so good, ordered another iclear 30 tank, another protank mini 2 (had one with same pg ratio, tank cranker juice, all mt. Baker juices at 6mg or below), AND another mvp2 (with some mt. Baker 65/35 in 0 mg coming).

Problem, SEVERE rating. Started honkin on some 0mg halo Belgian cocoa mixed with 6mg mt. Baker Bavarian Creme 6mg. MMMM, good. Added some more Belgian cocoa (all in iclear 30 tank), so could do some chain vaping. Developed severe stomach cramps, couldn't eat, couldn't function. (this was the first halo juice on the mvp's, was still using them out of halo gear, no problems.). Pain went away next day immediately when using mt. Baker juice, and using the 6mg halo out of halo tanks. Later in day, went back to halo 0nic in big tank, hour later, stomach pains return (ps, $100 worth of groceries going down the tubes). Go to bed, no relief for eating.

Today, wake up. Pain gone, start coffee. Everything good until puff halo on MVP. Switch back to mt baker in protank, and halo 6mg in g6 mini tank. Now, this doesn't seem to be so much pure pg related, as to pg ratios AND delivery system (obviously more to the punch on an MVP). Anyone know what to do?

Please don't laugh at me: Can I get a RDA or maybe a few cause I will prob destroy one or two in the process and attempt my first coil build and stick it on the mvp expecting to blow some "clouds" ? Will I need a mech mod or is it just better to purchase one ? I want some big "sick as titts rip tripper clouds" !

it can be done but you need to stay in the safe Ohms range of the device. The MVP will fire below 1ohm but i would recommend staying in the 1.3 - 2.2 range. Its all about wire, wick, and airflow. If you want massive clouds then you need to research the sub-ohm stuff and get a mech.

I got my SM Kayfun Lite yesterday and tried it on my MVP. It's a really nice device and all, works great on my MVP but.. Call me crazy but I think I'll stick to my evods and mini protanks. Kayfun hits better (but has a smoother vape), has a bit more flavor but is a heavy ....... with akward filling tiny hole, 510 threading which just waits to strip my MVP's threads and it whistles a bit. I still didn't do a perfect setup but I managed to do a solid 8 figure 2 ohm silica setup. I can power it a lot harder than my protank without burnt taste but it's not IMO all THAT better vape than what I get with my rebuilt evod/protank coils. I tried MC cotton too but it doesn't do much for me. Should I give Kayfun more chance or just go back to my tried and true ego threaded devices? Dayum I hate that 510 lol.

Keep trying... my first build on the Russian 91% was excellent and i was in Vaping Nirvana. My second build was like a cheap clearo. There is a fine line between too much cotton and not enough. :) When you get it right it is as good as it gets. I can do it consistently now. Yes its a tad top heavy but it is pretty rugged and lasts all day!

Yea I have been thinking of purchasing a mech mod to start learning. I have been doing my research on it here and there along with watching a lot of youtube video but I am the hands on type of learner and think I will develop more knowledge if I buy a mech mod and RDA and start using it. I will probably have a local shop build my first one and see if I can even watch them do it in front of me. I need to stop by the local shops and see what they have to say. Im concerned about all the danger talk. I hear you'll be perfectly fine as long as you take baby steps and follow instructions while learning but I also heard people say they are dangerous. Are they blow up in your face dangerous ? I would imagine not or at least the odds are better for it not to explode or else no one would be doing using them. The danger topic seems vague and least spoken about, at least in the stuff I have read.

Its all about battery safety...tons of info on ECF...search Battitude he has some great threads on battery safety. In a nut shell you need to use your volts (assume 4.2 which is a full charge on most Lithium batteries), resistance of your coil, to determine your watts and how many AMPs you are drawing. Make sure your amps are in the limits of your battery. Most factor in an addtional safety measure. Its not hard but you do have to put some time in learning it.

i don't know why anyone would want 2...except for bragging rights!

Back-up my friend. Back-up. Never hurts to have an extra for that cheap. No different than having several ego batteries. How many people you know with just one of them??? I figure I can use one while charging the other. Essentially doubling the life. I wouldn't say having more than one of a MOD like this would be bragging rights. Maybe having 5 Provaris would be. Dunno.

Absolutely true. I don't ever want to find myself without a vape close by. Otherwise I might hit up 7-11 for a pack of smokes and a lighter.

As I approach closer and closer to 0mg, I'm less worried about the addiction part, but I still wnat to have backups in case my primary vape fails.

For the MVP, especially, an extra one doubles the life for both since I need to charge each one half as many times. For something like a Provari, I only worry about the battery, not an extra full mod.

I have "my precious" that I use at home. But I use my MVP's for all my out and about work. Easy to charge on the go and dirt cheap to replace should I lose it or break it.

Just got my MVP today and ordered it Sunday night...fast. Sent me the wrong one, I asked for black, but they sent woodgrain. Does have a matching woodgrain 1clear 16B and I also bought an iClear 30B. He sent 2 skins ( Red and Blue ) and a free 15ml bottle of juice. All for $63 on ebay. I thought of sending it back, but I can't...already spewing out Thick White Plumes at my desk at work ( too thick, people were coming over to see the vapor maker ) I have had it for an hour and it is amazing, cant wait to get home and get the 30B filled and going.

Tonites forcast for The Keirster's domicile is...Thick, Dense, Fog :vapor:

Here is the setup, let me know what you think.

I see your black one Erikbal and im jealous. The seller is sending me a black skin today to make up for the mistake, so I wont write a bad a review, mistakes happen. Hope he feels the need to send me some juice too ;)

This thing rocks but I have a question. I adjust the wattage and it sets the volts, but then when I set the volts it still says the same wattage. I am a newbie, but this seems like they should change when you alter the other. Also, I am vaping at higher wattage than the charts say, but not getting burnt taste and the vapor is room filling...is this still bad? How should I operate this to get the most out of it. I have iClear 16B and 30B and evods. Love how the evod's work, but they get pretty hot with heavy vaping.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Any Variable wattage device sets the safe voltage. The converse is not the same. I stick with VW since I am a coward.

I have the blue one, it was the only one available but for me it's the best!

PS. Where is the "like" button?
I also have the blue one, but it was my choice between black, blue, and silver. I went in thinking I would pick up the black one, but once I saw the blue one...I was sold. I just like that color on it for some reason.

I could not be happier with it. It performs so well!!
