Yeah - the puff counter is nifty. But I was kind of appalled when I saw how many times I "puffed" all day. Did I do anything else but vape? I guess not.:D

And I love that you call it "Woody"! Cute! I need to name mine. I put a sparkly purple wrap on it it.

I blow back in after every puff so the count is lower.

I stopped at a new b&m in another town today. Looking for a spare ego, maybe a vv. He had 1300mah ego twist at 29 and a VV3 express at 85. No thanks.

13 days ago I payed 70.00 for an 1300 basic ego NON vv , ce5 tank, usb charger (didn't even come with wall plug) and a soft case. It was an extra 10.00 for a wall charger extension but thankfully I had plenty of those at home lol. Monday I paid 87.09 for an MVP. My AS5hole is killing me from those visits to the local B&M.....

I am tempted to start a B&M AS5 RAPE thread and see which state/city has the highest markups but don't want to violate any rules or offend any stores. I have a feeling the thread would get pretty interesting and could maybe wake up some B&Ms who are on here when they are publicly noted. I also may be looked at like an AS5hole lol

edit: Just checked receipt and it was actually 67.50, not 70 lol

I feel very lucky, the closest B&M to me, (2 hours away), isn't that much higher than on line. I expect their rent isn't that high, which is probably why they don't have a huge mark up. They share space with another store in a building that used to be a gas and service station, so it's small and kind of crowded, but it's better than nothing, and better than a store in a high rent place.

Thank god almighty I have an altsmoke B&M. Other shops in town are laughable.

Want to hear the best part about one of my wonderful local B&M? One of them has an online store and the prices are closer to other online store prices. Yet you walk in their store and you get the 25-30% markup ! You're not allowed to order online and pickup your order either. I could of sworn all customers get treated equally and if not you give your locals a discount here and there rather than giving outsiders one. ....s crazy over here lol

That's exactly it. You can frequently find them for not much more than a lot of places charge for 1300 spinners, and they really are a lot better. I love my spinners, but rather than buy more, I will probably get another MVP.

You should really look at the MVP's little sister the VV V3. It is the same great vape as the MVP in a nice little package. . If I could only have one it would be the MVP but I use my VV more than I use my MVP. It is just a lot easier in the hand and also to pocket. It is an 850 Mah but it is a strong battery and last me a good 7 or 8 hours.

Im no expert but have used a half dozen variations before I got my mvp2.

This thing is so choice. Yes.. its an odd shape.. but tgat dn bother me.. and the battery life is absolutely unreal. Days... I mean days before recharging. ..

I've had mine for a week and haven't charged it yet. Mind you it isn't my full time mod, I don't have one. But I never charged it when I got it even.

I received mine a couple days ago, and it's definitely an upgrade from what I started with but the battery life is not as long as what's touted here. I got around 800 puffs taking it out of the box, had to charge and right now after 326 puffs the battery reads 3.6v and the light is yellow. I'm running a PT2 mini with a 2.5 ohm coil, the battery is set at 3.8v and 7.0w. I'm still trying to understand this thing and my electronics experience is limited (I don't know Ohm's Law), if there's something I'm not understanding here please let me know. Thanks for the input!

I don't blame you. Kayfuns can be a bit overwhelming. The reason I went with a Kayfun is that I'm weaning myself to zero nic, and at zero nic, my Kangers were delivering next to nothing. I was getting really muted flavor and no throat hit. Now I understand throat hit is a function of nicotine content. So when I removed that, I was getting nothing. The Kayfun gives me more flavor out of my juices so that zero nic is less than an issue. I was really concerned that once I got to zero nic, then vaping would stop being pleasurable. The Kayfun changed all that for me.

Totally agree, I also dilute my 6mg juices now with about 20% pure VG to lessen the flavor intensity, TH and nicotine as well. If I used this juice in a Kanger/iclear30S, its like vaping water, cant taste anything at all. The KFL+ doesn't give me the same flavor & Vapor as my RDA, but its super convenient, as so is the MVP2.

Whenever I go off island, that's all I need to bring with me, perfect travel companions ;)

You set it at either the voltage mode or the wattage mode. Not both. So when you're vaping at 3.8V, it's around 5.8W with 2.5ohms, and when you set it at 7W, MVP calculates how much voltage is needed (which would come around 4.2V at 2.5ohms).

That said, it doesn't sound right with your battery life. I can easily get 3 days out of mine at 3.9V with mine with about 2 - 3 evod or mini protank tanks vaped.

Brand new MVP 2.0 not firing. Already have a thread on this.

Been told to pull the pin out a bit and don't screw it on so tight. Any idea how fragile doing this would make my device? As in, could I take it out and about? (Bars, work etc)

James

I had to adjust the pin once. It came from the factory that way. No problem since. Bear in mind the atomizers have their pins set at different levels. I just snug an atomizer and no problems since.
