I received mine a couple days ago, and it's definitely an upgrade from what I started with but the battery life is not as long as what's touted here. I got around 800 puffs taking it out of the box, had to charge and right now after 326 puffs the battery reads 3.6v and the light is yellow. I'm running a PT2 mini with a 2.5 ohm coil, the battery is set at 3.8v and 7.0w. I'm still trying to understand this thing and my electronics experience is limited (I don't know Ohm's Law), if there's something I'm not understanding here please let me know. Thanks for the input!

When you charge, you have to leave it on charge until the green light goes out.

If you did that (betting you didn't:) ) then your unit is defective and your going to have to contact your vendor.

I had to adjust the pin once. It came from the factory that way. No problem since. Bear in mind the atomizers have their pins set at different levels. I just snug an atomizer and no problems since.

That's such a relief to hear! Is there any video guides on adjusting them? I'm guessing it's just a tweezer and steady hand job?

You could get a wrap for it. Wonder if the battery is safe?

tuffpuffs.com has MVPs in stock for $37. I went to buy one but shipping charge was higher than I expected. I emailed Joey to see what's up.

im sure the battery would be fine.. the only thing i dont like about the mvp is where the button is located. would have been so much better if it had been located on the side or top next to atty connector.. other than that a good device.

You should really look at the MVP's little sister the VV V3. It is the same great vape as the MVP in a nice little package. . If I could only have one it would be the MVP but I use my VV more than I use my MVP. It is just a lot easier in the hand and also to pocket. It is an 850 Mah but it is a strong battery and last me a good 7 or 8 hours.

For some reason, the VV V3 has never really interested me. I like the MVP better. I've held the VV V3 in a B&M, but it just didn't grab me. I love the looks of the 134, but it seems to be overpriced compared to some of the other mods.

You set it at either the voltage mode or the wattage mode. Not both. So when you're vaping at 3.8V, it's around 5.8W with 2.5ohms, and when you set it at 7W, MVP calculates how much voltage is needed (which would come around 4.2V at 2.5ohms).

That said, it doesn't sound right with your battery life. I can easily get 3 days out of mine at 3.9V with mine with about 2 - 3 evod or mini protank tanks vaped.

I agree, I only charge mine every other day, and it doesn't hit yellow. I'm vaping at 5 volts with a Protank 3 2.2 ohms. (That seems to be my sweet spot with the juice I have in it).

Until the green light goes out, got it! Thanks!!

This one had me fooled as well. Not in the instructions.

Ya, not the first, or the second time we have seen this one. But, we have seen a few instances of the unit being defective. not holding a charge and it had to go back. But usually it's the charge thing :)

Let us know how you make out Hayes.

Whoa dude, tell me your setup on your protank :O
Oh, it's a PT3? My Mini PT can't really handle stuff all that much above 4.1V without burnt taste.
I gotta do a better head rebuild. Currently got 6 wraps of 0.18 kanthal around 2 2mm silica wicks. Maybe I got some hot spots or something. Gotta go with 5 wraps next time.

Hey guys I have a question about mvp 2.0
Does mvp battery has memory? I mean do i have to charge it only when its dead and always wait til its fully charged? Like with cell phone?
And one more thing. I get about 600 puffs (4-5 sec) til the light foes red on my mvp. I use PT3 dual coil @ 4.7v. Is it normal? I read somewhere that dual coil drains twice more batter power than single coil.
