If anyone cares about my saga, my MVP won't charge. I wish it would through the 510 but it doesn't.

My local shop said that innokin is real good at replacing defects and try contacting them. I went to the support page and in part it says

Something to think about as we all try to find the best price. Most online stores have a DOA return and maybe a 30 day. In addition to wondering if the unit is real, we should check the vendor to see if they are an authorized dealer.

I bought an ego-c twist yesterday as I ponder weather to buy another MVP. I've tossed $40 in a slot machine at times and always bought those $40 cartons of smokes that lasted a week. So why do I feel bad that this lasted a month?

First of all if you purchased in a shop they should replace it not Innokin. If an internet purchase again back to the seller. I would replace it with another MVP. Your experience, not like the SVD, is rare. Be confident.

use the screw driver along the edge of the center pin and the top of the sidewalls for leverage...you have to gently coax it up working your away around the outside it will take four or five gently rocks on opossites sides before it moves up. It wont move up if you only try it from one spot because it will bind in the slot. The center pin floats so you are not going to hurt anything. It will come up quite aways. Dont overtighten atty's. :D

It seems you can try 3 things.

1. Change charger or check your charger.

2. Call or email the vendor you purchased from and explain the situation. Most vendors will take it back.

3. As you said view it as a carton of cigarettes and eat the loss.

MVP with a Phoenix V4 dripper. Coil running 1.3 ohms and drilled out air hole. Great looking and hitting for a $10 RDA.

Do you guys find the MVP 2.0 ohm reader to be inconsistent?

I switch tanks pretty often. I have a 2.2 ohm coil and sometimes it reads 2.2 and can read 2.6 other times.

If it reads 2.6, sometimes powering off and powering back on it'll read 2.2.

I find all the APVs do this to a greater or lesser extent. If I check on an Ohm meter it is never the exact same reading on any mod.

Does it fluctuate even with the same coil on the same device?

And how does this affect the wattage output? Will it still push out the desired wattage even though the reading is off .1-.3?

Yup seems to work just fine. Just don;t think the on board ohm meters are very accurate.

My MVP gave me a scare this morning. I was out ice fishing and while taking a picture, my phone told me it was low on charge. No problem, I plug it in to my fully charged MVP and it charges away. About a half hour later, I needs me a vape so I reached over and get one nice vape off and then nothing. The unit went completely dead. No lights, no fire button light, no read outs. Dead.

I lamented the rest of the day while getting by on my little 400mah back up unit. I got home and plugged it to the charger and it showed me a funny set of symbols on the display and went dead again. No fire button light, no read out. I hard booted the unit again and the this time the green fire light is lit showing charging. Unplug it, voltage reads 4.1 and I am able to vape away. Oh, happy day!

So, I guess the moral of the story is: If you are out fishing and it is 25 degrees bellow freezing, you should either charge off your MVP or vape off your MVP, but not both. :)

I also run a Nautilus on my MVP2 and really like the combo a lot. With a full tank and a full charge I'm set for the whole day.

This tank is pure badass. EVERY other tank I have tastes burnt above 7watts. This tank on 10watts with the biggest air hole open blows some NICE ... clouds that taste perfect !!! I am very very impressed.

I just dunno if I can bring myself to try the Nautilus. I have tried the Vivi Nova BDC, Vivi Nova top coil, Innokin iClear 30 and the 30s. All of them give muted taste to my juices. Best way to describe it as watered down. Cranking up the voltage doesn't help either. I am beginning to think my juices don't like bigger tanks. The biggest tank I have used that does not seem to mute the taste is the Aspire ET. But all in all my favorites have been the Mini Nova and the Kanger T2.

Try and test one out somehow. I think you'll really enjoy it ! Stops my evod, vivi mini bcd, iclear 16 n 30, and protank 3 by a lot.

I've not heard too much bad about it. But it is just alot of money to spend on another one that isn't for me. I did have a chance to take a few puffs off an Aero Tank today and it wasn't bad at all. Guess I am just in the mindset that bigger tanks give muted flavor. And bottom coil bigger tanks even more so. But that is just from my own personal experience.
