I've not heard too much bad about it. But it is just alot of money to spend on another one that isn't for me. I did have a chance to take a few puffs off an Aero tank today and it wasn't bad at all. Guess I am just in the mindset that bigger tanks give muted flavor. And bottom coil bigger tanks even more so. But that is just from my own personal experience.

Im sure your familiar with rip trippers. He has a video reviewing both and in the aero tank one he says its not on par with the nautilus. If you haven't seen them, check them out, pretty good info.

I have a feeling I may have been duped. My local B&M store's cover was white and not the blue and white cover I have seen on line. The iclear30 is also plastic at least it looks like it when I unscrew the top part.

All of the iClear line is plastic except the new iClear X.I Pyrex.

Yes, but the concerning part was the packaging wasn't even the same. The device as far as I can tell looks the same and at the same time works... Should I be concerned or am I just nitpicking? It's just my first 'mod' and I'm excited to use it.

Both of mine are white. One was bought at my B&M and the other online. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the the assurance! I just found the scratch sticker too. I wasn't able to find that originally, but being able to find that does bring a piece of mind for me.

That blue with the white zebra looking stripes isn't how my itaste mvp 2.0 was. I just got it a few days ago so maybe I have a newer case or something. Mine is all white with itaste mvp and v2.0 in top right corner is silver font. I can't find a pick of how mine is but I am 99.99% sure its real because it came from beyond vape and they have a huge sign that says NO CLONES ALLOWED inside the store lol.

That's the thing is that they were selling clones at the B&M store, but at least they were openly calling them clones as opposed to not...I mean I guess I'm just picky since it being the first Mod I have bought I don't wanna feel like I was duped. I did notice much better vapor production off the bat when I cranked it a bit.

EDIT: Appreciate the help guys!

Even if its your 100th mod you don't want to be ripped off ! Its totally understandable and I would feel the same way. The day I got my mvp I wasn't to satisfied either. I think I was expecting a lot more since it was my first mod but now I love the thing. I can't put it down. You need to do like everyone told me. Start at low voltage or wattage and work your way up until you find the sweet spot that you like. I preferable only use voltage because to me it tastes better. Some people think its BS and some others swear voltage really is better. Some youtube videos also explain that the wattage is a little off at some settings on the mvp.

Thanks for the tips. I started at 3.7 like my EVOD, then I went up to 4.1 with one juice and then 4.2 it started to get a bit burnt after tooting for about 5 seconds. I'm going to start around 3.4 on this new juice to see how it works out because it's a 30 PG / 70 VG mix. That's why I wanted to get the VV/VW to be able to play with the settings. Hopefully after a few months I'll be looking into Rebuildable mods and keep this one handy as well since everyone seems to love this mod this much. I hope I'm going to feel the same way.

Will report after vaping away this weekend!

Have to wonder if there's different color packaging for different tanks. I got the I30 with my black one but it does come with other tanks. Got mine last week, but at my age... don't remember what color the packaging was. :( I think it was blue. Doesn't say MVP2 on the unit but the sealed packaging and printing all say MVP2. So is it a 2 or isn't it? I really don't care. Works fine and the scratch number checks out as good.
Still like my SVD better but this is a neat little unit.

Im at 3.6 on my 1.5ohm evod and it seems best right around there or 3.7. Even with my 2.5 ohm evod I still don't go above 3.9. Its all personal preference and what juice your vaping

So far not one single legitimate clone of the MVP has showed up. There simply isn't one. Might be some day (not likely at this price point) but one has never showed up on these pages. Neither have we ever heard any one say that their scratch and sniff code did not come back legit. Never once has a bad one been reported.

Simply put folks, this whole "genuine" thing is a (apparently successful) marketing scam. If you don't want to believe me then read what Vapor Joe had to say about it http://.........blogspot.com/2013/06/the-dirty-little-not-so-secret.html

This being my first mod, I just figured to see what it was. I'm using a 2.2 ohm with Mini Protank 2. I have a 50 / 50 juice in there right now, noticed a cherry in there that I never noticed before. I'm going to start a 3.3 again but then the hit was quite there for me. I'll try again later maybe 3 - 5 toots isn't the best sample size.

Sorry for all the reports. Just excited with the new mod.

I just know that the VV I got from them seemed a bit fishy before, because the 'fire' button was a lot larger than my previous Kanger model. Obviously those being on the market a lot longer, I would expect to see a lot more clones.

I can understand that marketing "scam" but some of those fast tech prices are INSANELY cheap. I never was one to purchase a fake product , its cliche but its not fair to the person who part their blood, sweat, tears and sometimes life savings into designing a product for us to enjoy safely. Don't get me wrong, I have thought about what makes a clone so different vs the real thing. Mostly with mechanical mods because they're a lot simpler than a mod that has a circuit board with all types of security modes, settings, etc. I guess its another personal preference thing. I would like to get an honest opinion on a clone vs real from someone who has both of them and knows his .... and has taken each of them apart and compared materials etc... I hope this makes sense because I am triple tasking at the moment while watching netflix lol

Plus my scratch code checks out too ! lol

I'm at work, so I can't check my packaging. Where is the scratch code at? I'd like to check when I get off work in the morning.

(I'd also like to say that the more I use my MVP2, the more I love it. I can't thank the people here enough for suggesting and recommending it!)

The authenticity code is on a scratch off label, top of the box with the mod facing you. At least it was on mine.

Thank you. I'll check mine when I get home. Not that I'm worried. I bought mine from my local B&M vape shop that has been really great.
