Thanks everyone for the inputs!

I tried using my coolfire 1 ring on the mvp2 but it doesn't fit. Sadly where I'm from doesn't have any b&m shops for me to walk in and try. I guess I'll try one off ebay and see how it goes :)

Sorry to hear about no B&M's. I would do as Paul suggested then and get an authentic ring online. As Capt said, they are proprietary and you should have it in case you want to use it.

Good luck and keep us posted.

i just noticed something strange with my MVP. I am using on passthrough as I forgot to throw it on the charger overnite. When I am taking a long pull of my kayfun, it flashes the Red, Yellow, Green and then 4 flashing green when I release the button. Just like whdn you plug it into the charger when it is on. Shorter pulls it doesn't do it though.

I never noticed this before...is it normal?

i hate ordering from them for some reason....got a bunch of stuff book-marked and just can't seem to pull the trigger.....had a real bad experience ordering a Tablet from a Chinese Vendor once and it's made me real Leary.
I get lot's of stuff from them not the fastest on some things but, I read all reviews and discussions, I am satisfied with them.:2c:

I have a question about coils , I am confused about the ends of the coil as you can see in this pic , where do you insert or attach the two end pieces in a head?

Apologies for being off topic

Thanks folks

In the second pic, the coil is centered in the tube with the "legs" down the middle and out the bottom. Bend one outward. That is the ground. Put in the rubber grommet with the other leg in the middle. Then bend that leg opposite of the ground. Put in the pin and trim the legs as close as you can get to the tube and pin.

You don't really attach them. Ok, put both legs (ends) down the hole, then take the rubber grommet and put one leg thru it and push the rubber grommet into the hole (make sure your coil stays in place). Then you'll have one leg thru the grommet and one leg outside the grommet. Then you take the metal post and push it into the middle of the grommet. You'll notice then you have one leg on one side and the other leg on the other (the legs do Not need to touch). Now you can clip the end of the legs as close as you can to the grommet without cutting into the grommet and wha laa done.

I'm sure there are lots of youtube video's out there but RipTrippers has a good one. I'll see if I can find it and post it here.

Around the 7:58 mark in the video you'll see what it is suppose to look like. He's doing the rebuild of a nautilus coil but it's basicly the same for all clearo heads. Plus he's making a micro coil which you do not have to do. A regular coil build (like you've done) is fine.

He has lots of coil builds and it is really easy to follow his directions, I think. Hope this helps.

A long pull (I think more than 10 seconds) will give 10 green flashes on an SVD. I've seen the green flashes on an MVP2 but never noticed red & yellow. But I may have just missed it.

Nope. Held the button down, only green flashes. On the other hand, dint try it on passthru.

Just got a refund from fasttech for my first order from them placed in mid february. Got lost. Really long wait for nothing and money tied up for nothing.
On the other hand I did order a bunch from them while waiting for it. Only had a problem with the first order. I did stop ordering from them a month ago but only because I was worried about another loss.

The only thing different about the first order and others... I spent the extra couple o' bucks for the registered after the first one... or insured, or whatever the heck is there. Dunno if it's much faster. They say a day faster but at least it's easier to track. Generally takes less than 2 weeks.

Murphy's law Sando, you'll get it a day or two after you completely stop vaping.

figured it was a gamble, don't have much invested....like playin poker, win some loose some!

I do the extra $1 for "Via Swiss Post" and my recent orders have only taken 2 weeks to Tampa. Just placed a $35 order yesterday with a Nano kit as well as an M tank and 7 replacement center tanks for my KFL, funky drip tips and the Stillare that you love. Hopefully 2 weeks from now I will prepping for a great weekend of setting up new stuff!

Gotta love Vapemail days...it's like a mini Christmas, but instead of Santa it's a burly guy with hair on his shoulders that hands you the box and says "Smoke up Johnny!" ;)

....@gerrymi, bought a clearance special Carto (45mm) tank from DV for like 3 bucks or something been using it on my SID for about a month now....have to admit it taste great for a Tank...did learn with my thicker juice i need to get the slotted Carto's or i have to prime puff between hits....just might pick-up a newer locking DCT model.

You might want to consider an IBTanked. Some say they're expensive but at around $30 they're less than an Aspire Nautilus.

I've ordered a number of times from FastTech and have never had any problems. It's that their prices are so inexpensive!

I never order anything I need quickly and know their "tracking" is inaccurate/non-existent. So I just order => relax => when it's in my mailbox I know it's arrived.

(Haven't tried it yet but on another thread someone said paying the $1 for "China epacket" gets it delivered in 10 days.)
