That's what I need right there, to have for everyday use. Nice work!

Thanks. I wish I could take all the credit, but my 15 year old son came up with much of the planning on it. His being in woods class in school has opened a good amount of creativity in him.

simple mod holders, the first a Havana Mini Cigar box, the second an old lens-box with a foam insert and an Atty holder made from a thread spindle with some fishing weights taped in the bottom.....all from items laying around the house.

sure would like to get something fancy one day, yet i enjoy being innovative with items already here.....always enjoyed making my own stuff...and the ideas come and go and you get self satisfaction from creating your own....it's amazing what you can come up with sometimes even tho something store-bought is easier and might look better.

Did you Kanger BCC lovers see that Lightning Vapes has disassembled coils for 10/$10? and other parts as well? 15% off coupon on facebook too.

So thats where this whole " like" thing comes from , i am only about a year into owning a computer and facebook is something that never peaked my interest but i know others love it.

depends on how far you let it discharge
from yellow to full about 4hrs
so before yellow to almost full, 2-2.5hrs ???

right way, wrong way, my way...

Innokin sez how to charge it (till light goes out for full charge)
they would know, it's their product
but maybe to add some life expectancy...

like most manufacturers, Innokin does a good job
of safety features (over charge, low dis charge cut offs)
I TRY to stop my devices from charging to the last drop
but it doesn't happen all the time[/U]...

if I can stop them at 4.1v , 6 out of 10 charge times, then a
device is just that much farther ahead in the game of Life...
(if the therory is true)

if not, the safety features kick in...

:)

Oh good , i was starting to think you were immortal and could do no wrong , i couldn't figure out how can someone know the exact time to check voltage and always be dead on accurate , whew, maybe i'm not decades behind after all .

wow, 'duh' , forgot my all time favorite - Floral Foam
I use a deep well socket w/ extension to drill holes,
just a hacksaw blade, knife, or credit card to cut...

it's very easy to work with, you can literally make ANYTHING you want

many sizes, & green, white, brown
I started as idea templates, but have them all around

LOL! See the thing is I'm no battery expert. I'm sure guys like puf know a whole lot more about 'em than I do. I do have some (gasp) Trustfire 14500's for the out and about rig that are three years old but that's not my point. I'm saying I've saving a ton of money not smoking without even trying very hard. The first year I spent $1911(!!!), but saved $1189. No high end P thingies or the like because I'm just not that kind of guy, but pretty much whatever I wanted. Why not? Vaping had ended a 38 year 2 PAD habit and I was saving money to boot. I don't WANT the MVP or any of my other devices to crap out but if they do, I GET TO BUY A NEW ONE!

Here's the 2.5 y.o. out and about VV rig that runs on 2x14500 Trustfires. I trashed the 510 threads, soldered a sealed 510/510 adapter in. Wore the paint off the voltage display (still works). Broke the adjustment knob off (still works). Super glued a keyring on for use with a dog tag chain lanyard because I work outdoors. This thing will not die! I have two more if it ever does...

I'm with ya 100% on your above post , i think i may not have given myself enough credit for actually being able to beat smokes , even when i first started vaping i had to have a few Marlboros throughout the day in edition to the crappy cigalikes i was trying to succeed with to beat the real thing .

I have totally forgotten about the money factor and what i am actually saving because at first when you start vaping it feels like your spending a ton lol. I guess i need to take a look at the whole picture and convince myself that i actually did something that i was not looking forward to but knew it had to be done .

Thank God for you helpful folks and this great forum , and thank God for the undisputed king of the vapes , the world famous MVP.

Hi all!

Just wondering-where is a good place online to buy a charger for my MVP II? The one that came with the starter kit is starting to falter a bit. I had it charged up, or so I thought, until I started using it and it was in "yellow" mode. Then I plugged it back in. The charger-I have to fiddle with it a bit to get it to start charging. Then I will sit it down, and for no reason it will stop.

I finally got it all charged up, and using it now. But think I should get a new charging cable. Any suggestions?

Hopefully that's all it is and not a problem with the MVP itself.

Thanks!

There is a video of an MVP v1 with the usb charging port that fell off of the board. I had one that wouldn't charge after 5 weeks. Plug it in, it would light up, and just run down the battery. It went from green to yellow to red to dead. I got it replaced under warranty but had to pay the shipping for the bad one. If yours starts acting up, get in touch with where you bought it right away.

You can get cables at Staples or online places. Usb on one end, micro usb on the other.

A 7 week transition here herb. Four weeks to find a set up that would work for me and another 3 weeks smoking 5 a day until the last half carton was gone. I thought I'd just see if I could go without the smokes at that point. Turned out it was easy! 7 weeks compared to 38 years of cancer sticks? I'll take it! And the kicker? I didn't even mean to quit. I was told my Xmas list wasn't long enough so I added "e-cig" just to shut her up, I mean make her happy!

just hit-n-miss , like I said you kinda get a feel for the time frame it needs to charge 1.5, 2, 2.5 hrs

right now I am 'boosting' my vv v3, it is on 4.1 and when I see 4.2v I'll pull the plug
different than with the MVP that you can continually check the vv battery
