There you go:

Connect the black test lead to the jack marked "Common" or "-"; connect the red test lead to the jack marked with the Ω (Ohm symbol) or letter "R" near it.

To check the resistance of your atomizers:

1. Turn your multimeter on and select the lowest Ohms setting, usually 200Ω.

2. Look at the display; the left side of the screen should display number 1.

3. First, test the resistance of your leads. Touch to two leads together, firmly, and wait for numbers to stabilize. On the right side of the screen, you should see a number between 0.0 and 0.4, or so. This is the resistance of your leads. Remember that number.

4. Now, to test your atty. Position your carto firmly on your desk; you don't want it to slip and slide all over the place. Touch one lead to the hole in the center of the atty and the other lead to the threads. Again read the display after the numbers have stabilized.

5. Subtract the resistance of your leads (#3) from the resistance of your atty(#4). This is the resistance of your atomizer.

This process takes some getting used to. Steady hand helps. Just keep practicing and you'll figure it out.

If you own an APV that checks the resistance of your atomizers, like MVP, Zmax, eVic or ProVari, you don't even need a multimeter.

+1 on instructions. Depending on the leads of your DMM, you might need to consider finer points (some leads have clunky tips - or what I did to one of mine was melt it when a circuit board I was working on wasn't wired "appropriately" OOPS :danger::danger::oops:8-o)

Hey everyone!

Figured this is a good place ( well... maybe heavy opinionated! LOL) to ask this question. My GF vapes exclusively from eGo twist and spinners, using mostly protank 3 minis. Me..we'll I'm a Super T Simplicity mech mod guy that uses a Kayfun Lite + V2 with a .61 -.84 coil build. Two totally different vapers! I've tried to convince her to go to mech mods...she has no interest...hates the vape (to strong and hot for her) and too much work. I've even built some tanks recently much higher than I like ( 1.2-1.6 range)...and still just too much for her.

Her eGo's are at the point of needing replaced...they are on their last legs. I've been doing some research and the MVP V2 seems like a good value and may be very flexible for her...

Looking for some feedback if others have moved from ego's, etc to the mvp and how your experience has been. I'm hoping with the VW she can dial in the power for her perfect vape per ejuice and get a more satisfying experience than what she currently uses. Thanks in advance for your feedback, it will be deeply appreciated!!

Ken, I would highly recommend the MVP2. Your GF might hesitate with the shape but I can assure you it becomes natural. I still have ego twists I use but I much prefer the MVP for flavor and battery life. If she hesitates and wants the shape of the egos, perhaps get her a VV3 with the knowledge the battery might not be enough. But it would be a start to the vv/vw experience

I'm a girl who moved from egos and spinners to the MVP.

Originally, I didn't want one because of the shape, but as soon as I used it, I loved it. I've seen a lot of other posts on here saying the same thing.

Since she is used to VV, I would say, get her one to try, and show her how to use the VV on it. She'll be used to that, then you can show her VW later. (The VV on the MVP seems to give a much better vape than the VV on a spinner). Also, let her know about the battery life. Chances are, she'll love it. If she doesn't, then you will have a nice device for yourself in addition to your other equipment. (Or, you can leave it with her, and let her wait until her other batteries die, then she will be very glad she has it)!

i went from a Spinner VV to the MVP, also have small hands for a Man and i thought before getting the MVP it might be uncomfortable to use.....sorta use a pistol grip and click the fire button with the side of my thumb rite on the knuckle...feels and works perfect for me almost natural now....oh and a great Vape also.

Buebishop... My opinion. (witch generully ain't worth mutch!)

*HEALTH ASIDE*!!!

Smokes vs the cig a likes. Meh. Real toss up. If yer looking to quit.... prolly won't since the smokes are easier. And "probably" taste better to the newbie.

cig a like vs ego. No comparison. Ego wins. (provided you get the right tasting juice. And that's the real challenge!)

ego vs mvp2. No comparison. MVP wins by a landslide.

Other mods vs MVP2... Then it's all subjective. And could get really complicated. :)

So I gave up on making everything pretty first (though I do admit to straightening up a bunch) and here's my storage and stuff. The drawer in the desk organiser works great for the sample bottles of juice that won't stay put otherwise.

I put the charging hub up on the table so you could see it. It normally lives on the floor and will eventually be stuck to the back of the table. I like this model because it has a cord so it's more mobile than the ones that plug directly into the outlet.

One huge advantage other than stellar battery life if the ability to set it wattage. The wattage setting remains the same no matter the coil so she'd get a much more consistent vape no matter the tank.
If the MVP2 is too big for her tastes the Innokin vv 3.0 is like a mini MVP2. Same abilities to customize voltage and wattage but in a battery about the size of an 1100 eGo twist.

Soooooo.......I got this for my MVP2: https://www.fasttech.com/p/1497901

I wanted something to match the "Blue Steel" and thought this might be close. HOLY COW. It holds 5ml and takes EVOD heads! I like it!!! The color is a little "off" from the Blue Steel, but it looks great. NOT topheavy.

looks just like the Hyper Tank, i like it!
