Hi everyone, I have a question. Do you think the eGo Cone for the eGo Winder (not sure If I can post the link where I found it) will fit the threads on the mvp?
I put my red knager evod on the mvp today and I love the way it looks on it, however I do not like the chrome ring.
So I was wondering if the red cone for the ego would fit. the evod doesn't need the ring to function, it would be just for looks to cover the chrome on the bottom of the tank.

I think ECF has a great filter, if they don't like the link
they block it (if it is offensive they penalize you)

(3) sets of threads on MVP
-510 (inside little)
-ego (middle standard)
-MVP trim ring threads

you can put ANY ego cone/beauty ring that fits and you like
on the ego threads...

but the MVP exclusive threads will be very hard to find a match...

(I started a thread in General Discussion on this but someone (amoret) suggested I post it here, hopefully someone can help.

So I've got a couple of MVP 2's and what I've noticed, as I'm using different tanks, putting them on, taking them off, some of the coating, or whatever it is, on the contact pin has scratched off over time.

I'm not even sure what the metal is. It's completely silver when it's new, and now that some of that has worn off I can see a more bronze/copper-like metal underneath it.

At first I freaked out because I thought that would mess with the connection and it wouldn't conduct as well, but I really haven't noticed a difference. Anyone know what the actual metals are and if it matters that some of it scratched off? Or even if all of it were scratched or worn off?

ALL these parts are "chromed brass" unless stated as other (stainless steel)

what you see is the chrome wearing off, many of my older better working
pieces have this from frequent use...

Yes, the cone would fit, but then you'd be using your ego threads and therefore would not be able to put your EVOD on there unless you use a 510/ego adapter. Using the cone without an adapter, you could only use toppers with a 510 threading. Make sense?

Ahhhh ok, I see what you're saying now, I just put the evod on my ego battery.

Well that stinks....lol Looks like I'll have to get my burgundy nail polish out and paint the ring that came with the mvp, or paint the chrome piece on the evod

I think it would look great with the cone! Here's a pic where I used a beauty ring instead of the cone, 510/ego adapter and EVOD.

Yep, I gotcha...less silver. I just wanted to show you that with the cone (or beauty ring) plus the adapter, the bottom of the EVOD would sit flush with the top of the cone. LOL - obviously I'm not very good at describing it, I thought the pic would help. Sorry if I made this more confusing!

a glass evod clone in SINGLE bcc (2.0ml)...

got them yesterday, play'd around and all my kanger stuff

^ I actually bought the evod a couple weeks ago just for a spare. You know, you can never have to many back ups...lol but I got a new juice in today and figured I'd use this clearo and well now I like the low profile on the mvp, I'm going to have to pic up some more.

But now your no help showing me the glass tank... How long was the shipping via fasttech?

I have 1 of these I hate it leaks all the time gurgles,just a mess do not use it anymore. I have had it for 3 months quit using 2 months ago. Leaked no matter what I did. Mostly after it got down to half full. Just my

well that's a bummer (what leaks, into battery or in your hands)
only thing stopping me is "510" (prefer ego)

but I have/use SMOK's RBC & EBC and think they are wonderful !

If you like the Evod tank but want glass, why not get an Evod Glass? They can be had from several vendors for about $7-8 (don't know about fasttech, though--I don't order from them). Same shape/size (ok, a tiny bit taller, but we're talking millimeters), removable drip tip, and tank-cracker-safe. It is dual coil, though, so if you want single coils you'll need to buy a spare PT2 Mini base (or so I'm told).

Smokes vs the cig a likes. Meh. Real toss up. If yer looking to quit.... prolly won't since the smokes are easier. And "probably" taste better to the newbie.

cig a like vs ego. No comparison. Ego wins. (provided you get the right tasting juice. And that's the real challenge!)

ego vs mvp2. No comparison. MVP wins by a landslide.

Other mods vs MVP2... Then it's all subjective. And could get really complicated.

Great comparison Gary! I don't have any other vv/vw mods, so I can't compare the MVP to those, but I do have two mechs, and I can definitely say that for me at least, I will always want to have an MVP 2.0 (or higher if they update it), as well as mechs!

The MVP is much easier to take around and use, and the battery life is so much better!
