I have concerns with the weight of the MVP, coming in at 164g or 5 oz after chain vaping all day. What do you think?

That's pretty much average for any full size mod. If you want to worry about weight, the VTR comes in at a whopping 13 oz! I'm pretty sure it's the reigning champion for weight. :)

I was using Vision Spinners before I got my MVP's, and was worried about the size and the weight. I'm female, have average size hands, and it has been no problem at all. I'm retired and home a lot, and carry my MVP around all day. Sometimes, like I did with a cigarette, I kind of forget I have it in my hand.:)

If anyone is interested, I took apart the MVP2 from the top, found the rubber grommet between the button and the circuit board, trimmed its height by half, reassembled the device, and now the button press is about 60% of what it was. Turns out the rubber grommet also applied resistance to a button press, and without that resistance the button is not as hard. After the modification the fire button is still securely in place - not loose or rattling at all.

The whole procedure took about 5 minutes. All you need is a #7 torque screwdriver (maybe a #6 as #7 was a little tight) and a pair of scissors. Make sure you turn off the device first. Getting the top of the device off requires some effort - you have to press in the whole button mount and push/pull the top off. Be careful of the wiring.

This was a last ditch effort before giving up on the MVP2 because the button press was uncomfortably hard. It worked so well I am no longer shopping for a new VW box mod.

Maybe someone with a camera and video editing abilities can make a video?

Cool. I'll take a look when I open mine up. Just ordered a flush, sealed, 510 connector. Plan on removing the big ego/510.

Inquiring mind(s) would like to see the possible mod and where you got the part etc.:) I don't like the feel of the crush of the connector on this new MVP. Have to really tighten down to get it to connect.

Yes, I think this is awesome. I also think the button is kind of hard but don't notice it as much because that little bone in my thumb has been trained to automatically press it. :D

But when I put the MVP in my pocket, I know it won't fire so I don't mind.

Just a few days ago, I swore I wasn't going to be seduced by the siren song of vaping enthusiasm. Greensmokes were going to do the trick and that would be the end of it. That didn't pan out, so I bumped it up a notch with an Ego-C and a Mini Vivi Nova. That was much better until I stripped out the threads on the Mini directly after giving it a hot bath. Then I got the Aspire Vivi Nova-S BDC Glassomizer to replace it and thought I was sittin' in tall cotton, but the Ego-C wouldn't finish the tank and, besides, the size mismatch just makes it look funny. So today I ordered the MVP v2 and have been researching rebuildables.

I'm discovering vaping is more than just a useful tool to quit smoking; it's interesting, fun and pleasurable too. It's funny how much of a difference a few days can make. Oh well, it's not the first time I've been wrong about something and it surely won't be the last.

64gb, but i have a 1tb hard drive that goes w/it and plenty of other accessories

it's a tab and keyboard combo in excellent shape, with case and all kind of goodies

Shoot me a PM...Gotta be a deal though :) Wife might kill me, but she wont use the 15" laptop 'cause its 'too big', or her Asus T101 'cause its android is 'too slow'... So, she's been shopping on her Nokia 920 phone for close to a year now..

You are about to hit a serious plateau with the MVP. For a lot of people, the journey ends here. Not that it is a bad thing to keep going but once you have the MVP and a rebuildiable the only reason you really need to continue is for the hobby end of things. An all day plus battery life, VV/VW, great from factor, the MVP really has it all!

Welcome, heres your sign!

right there with you IML8. Went from the ego spinner starter kit to the MVP in about 6 weeks and said to myself that was it. then started trying different tanks. The I got my Kayfun RBA and the flavor and vapor were so much better.
Then I got a Mech and a dripper and the game really changed.

Have 2 more drippers on the slow boat from China, along with some other goodies. It has turned into a full blown hobby that I truly enjoy and the rebuildables let you experiment to get the flavor and and vapor combo that just makes it a very tasty morning for me.

I'm dripping some strawberry ice cream this morning with my cherry Sencha tea.It is a flavorful morning;)
