that's it, just wrap-em up and your good to go...after you make a couple you get the hang of it....smooooth as silk :vapor:

my magnets kept breaking on me i had to come up w/something...did some research and found copper was very good to use, if you can find it you want something called byralliam copper (spelling) it supposed to be the best also silver plated is good.....i seem to get a real smooth hit with these copper springs and the tension is easy.

I have a clone too Dinger, you will love it. Such a difference in flavor, let me know how you like it after you get it. There are a lot of kayfun users in the MVP crowd.

Keirster, just got my clone this week and built it up with a 1.8-1.9Ω coil. Getting great flavor; just not the amount vapor I was expecting. Maybe need to build lower ohms? I don't have a high-wattage rig (just my VV3/MVP2s for now) I'll play with this one for a bit, and then maybe try to build a lower-ohmed coil. I wimped out and didn't get airflow control on this clone. I'm looking at another one that will have the airflow. May pull the trigger on that one here soon.

It's all about the "playtime/vapetime" now :D

.....@clnire, ordered a Kayfun Mini 2.1 from F.T. on the 7th & was suppose to ship on the 13th, it's status is in "restock" so no telling when it's coming...been checking everyday, so be prepared to wait longer than usual.

ordered another Nemi Hybrid adapter and 2 drip tips last nite from F.T. and they have already shipped this morn...who knows?

Why? What does the copper tape do for you in a mech mod? Are you trying to increase conductivity?

using Copper tape in a solid tube from thread to thread top to bottom is suppose to lesson Voltage drop, the tape has to have conductive adhesive......i run it out both sides of the tube about 1/4 inch then rub my finger on it real good on the inside then work it into the threads...then screw your top cap and switch back on and peel off the waste on the outside and :vapor:

How do you think it would work as the sole method of conduction? Im wondering if it could be used for "kicking" a Microstick with the non conductive battery extension.

Ok, I can see making a coil from copper (dunno why) but a spring? I don't see how you get any tension whatsoever with copper.

When I ordered last night the site said they expect to start shipping I think on the 21st. As always with FT, I order and just wait. Sometimes more patiently than others...

pardon the typos, on my phone :)

I love FT for the prices, but the delivery is a PITA. Got my order on Tuesday and I ordered in early May, but because 1 of the 10 items I ordered was not in stock, they waited to send it all out.

i sure hope so, tomorrow would be a good day to ship for me, seems like i been waiting forever....i'm just gonna forget about it and one day soon hopefully i'll have a surprise in the P.O. Box....guess the price is worth the wait imo

I agree brother, the price is worth the wait. For what i would pay for a clone here in the US, I can buy a clone and about 6 or 7 other cool items.

I bought the SM30 RDA from FT as I liked the small size and thought it would work great on the MVP...Boy was I wrong. I had to drill a hole to get any airflow and built a 1.1 ohm out of 26 gauge and hardly any vapor production, even at 11 watts. Tried it on my mech and it still does almost nothing.

Good new is I am only out $3...I will pay it forward to someone I guess.

Anyone have one of these that works well on MVP?
