Do the same # of wraps on a 5/64 or 2mm bit... or, like I use, a toothpick which is 2mm :) Should come out to 1.8ohms..

I needed a coil last night and I wanted to try a 1/16 instead of my usual 5/64. Both bits were in the other room but a toothpick was laying there so I used that. It looked bigger than 1/16. Now I know.

I find toothpicks great. Plus they squish and you can get them into a kanger coil base with a larger coil. Toothpicks can be easier to find in a pinch than a drill bit or screwdriver too. ;)

pardon the typos, on my phone :)

Thanks for that tip. Some of my kanger style coils are smaller than the 1/16 bit and I use the drill portion to cheat. But 5/64 had to be man handled into place. This should help.

I keep a few of those little blue screwdrivers in my vape box, 5/64 fit nicely in a protank head.

Not sure if it was one of your posts or not, but I had read about using toothpicks in this forum, just once, and it stuck with me. All I use now :)

Awesome! Welcome!

How you like that Aero Mini?

Actually it has been performing way better than my Mega! it barely crackles and with the right voltage/airflow setting it is as smooth as hitting air through a straw!

Exactly what I'm vaping right now :vapor:

At first I thought it was too heavy and bulky.
My mind changed very very quickly and mine gets used daily :)

I started with a device that was much bigger and heaver, so this was the perfect solution for me!
yeee haaa OVO Kyle , nice job getting an MVP !
welcome to the club, it is quite the little special box...

:)

OVO REPS UP! I'm vaping to Trophies right now acutally haha
I have to say, it might just be my favourite 'little box' that i have in my life right now :vapor:

The White House has significantly modified proposed Food and Drug Administration (FDA) tobacco regulations, so that the online sale of e-cigarettes is not restricted, Reuters reported Wednesday.

Charged with analyzing the economic implications of policy, the White House’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) looked in detail at the FDA draft, which had included a prohibition of non-face-to-face sales, in effect banning online sales.

OMB changed the language, so that the ban applies only to vending machines. Due to lobbying from the cigar industry, OMB also addressed cigars, modifying the existing two-part rule which separates regulated from unregulated into a two-option rule, which exempts premium cigars.

I read that article as well... Definitely a step in the correct direction!

Happy Friday Fellow MVPer's

Tell us all what topper your rocking and the juice you are enjoying on this hot as H%&L ( for me 92 with heat index over 100 ) Tampa, Florida day

Ive got my trusty KFL with volts set at 3.7 and spewing clouds of Mountain Dew vapor directed under my desk at work :)

Here's the late shift chiming in. I'm vaping Earl Grey Tea in an Anyvape Davide at 2.4 ohms and 7.0 watts. Today in North Dakota it was hot and steamy, followed by more :censored: rain. You know it's bad when Eastern North Dakota is under a flash flood watch.

See all those gullies and ravines that the water could rush down?

Road trip today, the wife and I are visiting a couple of our favorite wineries this afternoon then have reservations at a fantastic farm-to-table restaurant. I know the MVP is going, as it's already my 'in car' workhorse, the only question is what to fill the tank with? We'll be doing at least two wine tastings - a sampling of both whites and reds, and then dinner. I'm generally not a tobacco flavor fan, but keep some around for heavy beer nights and such; I'm thinking that might be the most non-reactive option for all of the different flavors.

Grenade, I just wrapped about 11 wraps of 28g wire last night on a 1/16" bit. Landed about 1.3 ohms. Wrap my kanger heads with 30g (about 8-9 wraps; lands about 1.8-1.9 ohms.) The 28g build in my KFL (clone) seems pretty happy - was about 3.7V (played with 9.0W just to see if I could notice any difference.) The 28g takes a bit to heat up (but earlier posts of mine indicated that I very readily torched my cotton wick - LOL) I hear others go a little lower, but I'd prefer not to. I like the 1.6-2.0 range on mine - YMMV

Now THATs a walkie-talkie! :toast:

I have an addiction to the long drip tips, bought 5 so far and paid on forward to a young guy at a local B&M...wierd off copper color. I like the cig feel of the longer tips, but only on the KFL.
It does look like I might be able to pick up satellite broadcasts thought ;)

Maybe a chocolatey flavor. Might enhance certain reds, then maybe a nut like almond or hazelnut for the whites.

I wanna go now :(

Picked up a aspire nautilus this afternoon. Worlds better than the iclear30 that came with my MVP2
Well I loved my nautilus, I took it apart to clean it out and the glass under the top (drip tip/chimney) was chipped, that part wasn't disassembled before, I only asked the clerk/employee at vape shop to show me how to fill it before I left.he showed me how to remove the base and fill, then put it back togather and back in box. When I was on break at work I filled it and haven't looked back , so idk if I did it(don't think I did) or it was like this when I got it. Either way I now gotta go back to the vape shop and get a new glass tank. [emoji26]

Not a bad idea, except I won't be vaping in between flights - it'll be a full white-then-red tasting, decision on what to buy (if any), then back to the car for a vape and on to the next winery. I am lucky in that I won't need to be carrying two tanks in that respect. Now that I'm thinking of it in that light, I might go with something palate cleansing, perhaps a fruit/menthol mix.

Decisions, decisions.....

Quick update on the e-lvt. It rattlesnakes, which I like, but which might not be so good for those who like the higher frequency pwm of the MVP.
Battery life seems equivalent to the same battery when used in a Vamo - which is nice. :)
I'm pretty sure that you can't use this as a passthrough despite several sites saying that you can. From the "Attention" section of the e-lvt guide: "Please stop smoking when you using the USB line to charge the battery". I'd say that that means "No passthrough". :)
Only charges to 4.1v to increase battery life - but it only charges to 4.1v, which won't please everyone. It does go up to 6v as opposed to the 5v MVP restriction.
The beauty ring is very solid and doesn't loosen in a shirt pocket.
The rubber cover for the charging ports is not as hard to deal with as others have suggested - and is clearly better than the exposed ports on the MVP.
I'll post more when I've used it more, but I'm delighted with it so far. I have a feeling that this is shaping up to be a Vamo that you can put in your shirt pocket, which is great! And the flashlight/torch is handy and more powerful than I thought it would be. :)

A noob query here, which I hope somebody can help me with or point me in the right direction.

I've bought an Igo-W7 for first go at rebuilding. I made a 12-wrap (not too pretty) single coil with Vapinology G-plat 26 wire. Put it on MVP, and ohm reader showed 2.4 ohms. Gave it a short dry burn to get rid of any factory grease and confirm it was working. (Got so excited, missed the next step of heating the coil, squeezing it for hot-spots, etc - must try harder). Then wicked with cotton and added e-juice. Now it's reading 1.2 ohms. Took a big draw, and learned the difference between a dripper and a clearo. Took a few more draws. When my eyes stopped watering, checked the ohm reader: 0.8 ohms. Left it sitting a couple of hours, went to fire it up - nothing doing, ohm reader says 0.7 ohms (which I know is below the level at which the MVP will work).

I'm not sure what's happening here. Could it be a short? Or does the e-juice and cotton have an effect on conductivity / resistance? Aside from a neater coil, and doing the heat-n-squeeze thing, I'm not sure what I need to do different next time. I'm aiming for around 1.2-1.5 ohms, which I understand keeps the MVP happy.

A nice grape or orangey for palate cleanse sounds like a good move. Have fun!
