I have been pacing back and forth forever trying to decide what I want my first big AVP to be and I think I want this one. I've only been vaping since last november on an Ego twist but want to advance and I have been racking my brain over the provari, vamo and zmax but I think its time to put those to bed and seriously consider this new SVD! It has everything I want from VV to VW, a nice oled screen, multiple battery configurations and again it looks like a damn light saber lol! I gotta get one!

I can relate, been in your shoes before. IMHO, SS Vamo V2+ gives you the most bang for your buck, but the SVD kicks it up a notch, and with a little more class. The SVD is very, very impressive. It all depends on one's budget, but you absolutely couldn't go wrong with either. Provari is a fantastic unit as well, has been the Cadillac of Ecig mod's for a long time, but some manufacturers have produced units of very good quality/performance as well...I'd take a flyer on the Zmax, they'll just update/change it the week after you get it anyhow :) Just get whatever keeps you vaping happily. That's what's most important. Good luck!

For the SVD do you recommend the button top or flat top batteries? Also, I dont know the difference between IMR or High Drain so which of these things would be best and why? Thanks

Both our IMR and High Drain batteries are excellent quality and will provide similar battery life. IMHO, I'd save the money and go with the High Drains, but we only have them available in the 18650, so if you'd like to use the SVD in it's smaller mode, you'd have to go with the IMR 18350's. IMR is a "safer" chemistry than the High Drain, but the built in protection of the SVD has you covered anyhow. As far as button, or flat top, there's no real difference/preference other than how it fits in a particular device. You may find the button top does not fit with certain devices, and for that reason alone, I might recommend the flat top. If you'll only be using the batt's with the SVD, it won't make a difference as both configurations fit perfectly. Any more questions, don't hesitate to ask.
