Welcome , but in my opinion , and I have owned on in the past . They are a bit fragile ( lightweight ) and a bit top heavy . The bottom tube is aluminum , so it doesn't have a lot of heft to it . That all being said , there are some mods out there for it , that remedies that issue . There is a telescoping bottom , out of stainless as well as a 18350 bottom tube , and cap , also in SS . And lastly , some people have trouble trying to upgrade the firmware on their Evic's . I never had that problem , just got rid of it because it was too fragile for me . I personally like my sigelei Z-max's better , except for the new T-max , the connector comes out , and breaks the wire . ( design flaw . But the tube devices all work great . The V2 , and the tele V3 version . Good Luck . Oh , and I don't like my SVD either , so your not alone .

I have both and i dont like both the SVD i dont like its fire button and its sharp in the hands feel, and the evic for being underpower, I have no problems whatsoever with the update but it just seems to be underperforming, at least for me. IMHO the best vv vw mod that I have is the Sigelie Zmax telescopic I love how it feels in ther hand, it can accomodate any battery configuration, menu system is easy to navigate, buttons has a positive feel like that of the provari, and it feel solidly constructed. It's my all day carry vv mod beside the provari.

I have both and prefer the SVD. If you like a lighter mod then perhaps the eVic will be more to your liking. I like the SVD's stainless steel construction and superior accuracy. The eVic has more after-market parts if you're into customizing your mods; there are some really nice stainless steel replacement tubes available. Lastly, I love that the SVD looks like a lightsaber.

Not sure why you don't like your SVD, I love mine but I guess the look is personal taste. As for performance the SVD is up there with the rest of them and built to take abuse. The evic is fancy but most of the extra features are just for show and have little to no use. The screen on the evic is cool since is shows a few different things at once but not something I need but looks good.

I also dont see needing above 5v, i use watts now and dont go over 10w normally, i can push my protank well above.but sucks up the liquid at that level. The iclear30 can go higher but i dont like them enough to use them.

My svd does weird stuff at only 3 days old. It will just randomly shut off during a vape and flash 888 at me so j have to turn it back on and check the batt voltage and its 4v I've tried emailing innokin and my vendor with no luck :(

I have a Vamo and I love it, I will not order from Fasttech however I am a little displeased with the service, I tried to return a twist that I got and I never recieved an answer.

That being said I will be getting another one from vapor alley, I also have the Evic Intellegent and most of the time it stays at home. To underpowered and to many bells and whistles for on the go vaping

I've tried several and my favorite is the eVic. Lighter weight, cleaner look, and does what I want it to. As of firmware 1.3 there is a huge amount you can do with it if you connect it to your computer and use the program from joyetech.
As for 5v / 1,000,000 watt output . . . I've never found a desire to go higher than it maxes out at.
Durability wise, make sure it has the two screws in the control unit. Done. I've dropped mine and generally not babied it and it still looks great and works flawlessly.
YMMV, just saying.
