I am looking to purchase a battery that is a easier to carry around than my other vv/vw mods. Would you guys suggest the itaste vv, the vision spinner or the joytech twist. Any suggestions other than ones mentioned would also be great. Thanks!
I love my vv3. Even next to my Provari. Tastes the same, just smaller and disposable. It even survived my first kayfun build, which my spinner did not.
No plans on giving up my vv3. It's even square, which means it doesn't .... roll of the table!
The Vision Spinners and Joytech Twists are essentially the same. The Spinners have a better VV control dial and are actually less expensive than the Twists. Both perform equally well. Ego lanyards available to carry around your neck for easy transport.
Spinners available in 650, 900, and 1300 mah.
Twists available in 650 and 1000 mah.
Twist vs Spinner voltage control dial
The iTaste VV3 is about the same size as the eGo batteries, with an 800mah capacity. (100mah = 1 hour use under normal loads) Square shape. Built-in voltage and ohm meter shown on an LED screen. Variable voltage and variable wattage mode adjusted by a + & - button. Charging cord attaches to the bottom, so can be used as a pass thru (save battery life by using a USB wall adaptor while vaping).
I have one Smok Twist 1300, and four VV3's. That pretty much says it all.
At first, I bought one VV3 to try out. Liked it, and my wife loved it, so I bought another for me (after she took over mine ). Then two more... initially bought for backups but they soon worked their way into our daily rotation.
I like the Twist just fine, but the additional functions and LED of the VV3 puts it over the top. The two features I like best are:
1) When the Twist battery runs down, it just quits out of the blue. The VV3 fire button lights green with a full charge, yellow as the charge gets to about 3.6v (I think?), then red just before it quits at ~3.3v (?).
Twist - small, minimal design, requires special usb cable (2$), looks nice with smok aro and evod and many common tanks.
Itaste VV - ohm reader, micro usb charger, falls apart easiest out of the 3 in my experience.
Spinner - fat as hell.
Ide go with the twist.. I still have the same one I bought over a year ago...but if you need an ohm reader, get the itaste... All 3 are inexpensive..
3 VV3s, 2 1300 twists, 3 MVPs here. My twists must be fakes because the say ego-c on them but don't change color. The head came out of the tube on one. Pushed in it still works but can fall back out or get loose when you don't expect it. I paid $30 each at a B&M and it was a good item for that time in our vaping journey. I needed more battery time with a smaller device than the MVP. Now I have a Sigelei Zmax for all day with the VV3 as backup.
I have a Vision Spinner 1300 along with two VV3s and 2 MVP2s. I like how the VV3 feels, but its battery life is just barely 1/2 the Spinner. BUT, I love the ohm reader (since I rebuild my coils) and that it's a pass-through. My vote is VV3, but YMMV
vv3...Pass through, micro usb charger, ohm reader, vv/vw
Spinner...spin to desired voltage, eGo charging, vv only.
I'd go with the VV3.
I have 3 Spinners, 2 Twists, 4 vv3, 3 MVP v2.0, and the VV3 have operated flawlessly. The newer ones don't fall apart like the older ones did, since they now use rivets to hold them together.
