iTaste VV (Version 3) and Trident clone -- will it fit?

I'm not sure whether this was the right forum for this question, but I have an iTaste VV (V3) and I'm considering making Rainbow's Trident clone my first rba.

However, watching GrimmGreen's review and rebuild of the Grand Vapor Trident, I just saw that the GV Trident doesn't fit on the SmokTech Magneto. What does that have to do with fitting a clone of that rba on the iTaste?

Well, that's what I'm wondering -- I've read that Rainbow's Trident clone is almost a measure-for-measure, material-for-material exact match for the original. So I guess what I'm asking is, does the Trident fit on the iTaste? Or does it have a similar problem with that battery that it has with some mods?

It's a center post (510 connection) issue with the V1 Magnetos... they have a fixed pin. The V2 has an adjustable 510 post. Shouldn't be any problems with a Trident working on a 3.0... the center pin is pretty high and actually will hold most 510 toppers up off the 510 collar base... if you just lightly screw them down.
If you torque the crap out of them, then you might push the pin down and crush the grommet far enough that nothing would make contact.
