Hello

I use to smoke for 10 years, I stopped smoking in 2001 and start to smoke hookah in 2005 until 2010.

Few months ago I saw my friend (EffiChainVapes) with a provari, smoking Angry B1rd and it smell so good, and I gave it a try, It remind me the hookah.

Now I got Sliver bullet and start to vaping every day juicy w/o nicotine.

The question is what do you think? after I stopped smoking should I start vaping? does it bad for me even w/o nicotine?

My wife a fried that it will make me want to star smoking again.

Vaping is way better for you than smoking a hookah or a cig, IMHO. There aren't the tars and the carbon monoxide from smoking when you vape. Also, you are vaping 0 nicotine so you aren't getting back on the nic either.

Nobody can know for sure whether there are long term effects from vaping since vaping has only been around for a fairly short time but we do know that the tars and carbon monoxide fro msmoking are really bad for you and it looks like vaping is pretty safe.

Bottom line: Our lungs are meant for breathing air and nothing else. We pass something like 10,000 liters of air through our lungs every day. Anything other than air is considered foreign to our bodies and any physician will tell to that if it isn't air, don't put it past your lungs. That said, we don't know the long term affects of vaping either PG or VG or the multitude of flavorings used. My guess is that vaping is not nearly as damaging as smoking cigs. Nicotine is not good for the vascular system especially to those prone to high blood pressure. Being one of the most chemically addictive substances known, if you aren't using nicotine DON'T START.

There is a question you do have to ask yourself that no one can answer except you because we are all different in how we react to things. You have to honestly ask yourself if mimicking the action of smoking daily by vaping, even if 0 mg juice, could cause you to want to pick up a cigarette and start smoking again. There will likely be people out there that long ago gave up both their nicotine addiction and the hand to mouth part of the addiction that once they become accustomed to the hand to mouth actions of vaping again "may" have the reaction of wishing to put their old familiar cigarette back into their hand. I honestly don't think there are a lot of people that would have this reaction but I also think it is possible. No one should forget that once a smoking addict we are for the rest of our lives always in danger of returning to our addiction.

As long as you continue to only vape 0 mg juice there is no fear of your becoming addicted to nicotine again. Even though nicotine itself is not a huge health risk no one should wish to start a cycle of addiction to it again once they have broken that cycle and have been free of it for as long as you have. Sticking with 0 mg juice IMO could be important for you.

People start vaping to give up smoking. Our vaping prevents us from going back to smoking so in most cases I do think it would be rare for someone who long ago quit smoking to start vaping o mg juice and then move back to smoking BUT anything is possible so I do think one does need to be careful and not overlook the possiblity. :)

Thank you guys for your honest thoughts about this.

I really like the smoking in general, only legal stuff. I'm glad I found out about vaping and the big selection of the liquid and the taste is almost like an hookah taste. I can defiantly live with out it, but now after a week of vaping I know I will only stick to it and never order liquid with nicotine. I'm going to order a mini provari now lol.

Thanks agian!

If you and your wife are worried about the effect of vaping on your health, just keep reading through the forum. There are plenty of posts from people who have copd and other lung ailments that have gotten a stellar report card from their doctors. Some people have even had the result show a marked improvement/reversal in their conditions.

In the end, no one can tell you what is best for you. I'm of the opinion that if someone is thinking of vaping themselves after being nicotine free for a period of time it's because they're thinking about smoking again. If that is the case, then by all means vape away! Would you ask for people's opinions of whether you should start smoking again or not? Probably not, you just do it, right?

pandy, you might vape more because your not ingesting as much nicotine as with cigarettes. with e-juice, there is only nicotine. in cigarettes, there is a lot of chemicals added to aid in the absorption of the nicotine. Also, nicotine is absorbed in vapor differently than it is absorbed in vapor because rather than burning the nicotine, you are roasting it into vapor rather than carrying it into your system on carbon molecules and tar. It is absorbed LESS and less quickly with vaping. What mg are you using? Most conversions have shown that 18mg juice best replicates the act of smoking, when vaping. ;) enjoy your vapes!
