Well, the slow transition has worked and it has now officially been a week without analogs. Kind of self-congratulatory, but I just wanted to thank you guys for all of the help. You guys rock!
:toast:
Finally found a couple of my go-to-daily juices (4 out of a thousand I'm sure) and rotation for my 510 batteries to make it last all day. I'm sure the cold I had didn't hurt either. (Found a new use for my super-menthol flavor:laugh:)

In fact, I think if you were to try one right now you probably wouldn't even like them anymore. It just gets easier from here. :)

As simple as it sounds, this was kind of the actual milestone for me. Had a couple of drinks with some friends, was offered one, and turned the thing down and reached for mine. That seemed to be my weak spot, and how I started back after quitting the first time.

Well, I can't speak for you or anywhere else, but having an analog a week after switching was my litmus test for how effective E-cigs were. Aside from being curious about how it smelled and tasted a week in when my smell and taste had bounced back considerably (it tasted horrible and I could still smell it in my clothes an hour later), I wanted to know if having one could hook me back on cigs. Given my presence here and not-even-remotely-diminished enthusiasm for vaping, you can guess how that test scored. :) Plus, the terrible flavour just helped to reinforce my commitment to staying away from the nails.

Keep it up! I'm at 14 days now, I still have 2 packs of analogs at hand, but I have not been tempted. Smoked one or two only while waiting for a battery to charge, my bad for getting the wrong system. But I now honestly prefer the vaping, analogs are a last resort. I'm still new to this, once I get the right system there will be no problem ditching the analogs. I kind of like looking at that pack of cigs, and saying I DON'T WANT YOU ANYMORE!

Congrats,

Its been just about a week for me also. I still smoke one or two cigarettes a day but I'm finding that the analogs are becoming less and less desirable. Every time I light up I can't help but tasting and smelling the other nasty chemicals that I'm inhaling and I'm increasingly finding myself putting out my analogs before I even finish half of them.

Here's to all of us!

Keep up the good health,
