It's been a while

I see the ECF is blossoming more than ever! Ecigs are becoming more mainstream too based on my observations of people observing me vaping. (yes, I like to watch them watch me) There's very little surprise, and I get asked less and less about it.

Was vaping while everyone smoked at my family's Christmas party, and half of them actually knew what it was and were relatively well informed! (hadn't seen dad's side of the family for about 2 years)

This little tale may not seem like a lot, but overall they tend to be the least well informed people on any technology of any kind that I've ever known. (and frequently wrong in their assumptions about such)

If word of vaping reached their ears who knows what's next.

Welcome back Israfil. Yeah, this thing's really catching on. Ecigs are showing up in TV shows and movies now. Six people I knew as smokers are now vapers. I have also met many people through our local meets so I know quite a few vapers. I'm sure by this time next year I'll know more vapers than I do smokers. It's a beautiful thing.

I had just posted in another thread that I don't ever see anyone vaping in my area. I haven't seen one person doing it!

I know I'm going to be "that person" who has to explain to everyone what it is, but I've done my research and I'm prepared.

I'm noticing people saying, "Hey, I've seen those, there's a guy that comes in here..." But I have yet to see a vaper in the wild. My husband is on a guitar forum, and he mentioned that he owns an e-liquid business and sure enough, one of the guys on the guitar forum is a vaper! When I finally do see a vaper in the wild I am going to wave and jump up and down at them in excitement! "Hey, hey, I vape too!!" They'll either think I'm a crazy lady or be just as excited as I am.

I just started a new job and the tech who's training me says he just got off the e-cigarette after spending a year with them to get off of smoking. Don't know why one would ever quit the e-cig; i'm down to about 6mg but love the flavor and the tactile sensation.

I've met maybe...3-4 vapers in the wild. They're never as excited about it as I am... not sure why. ^_^

This has me grinning early in the morning! You'd have to peek out from behind trees, with your hair all messed up and your eyes really big like you were trying to be elusive! "Here we have the rare and elusive vaporicus humanicus. He's timid but very curious.."
